HotFuzz reacted to LMS for a file, Lenny's Mod Loader
The general idea of Lenny's Mod Loader is to provide an easy way to install file modifications. This is achieved in two different ways depending on whether existing resources in the game are to be 'replaced' or if new resources are added to the game as 'addons'. To replace resources, the game file system can be modified on a per-file basis allowing you to quickly change the content of files without touching any RPFs. To add new resources, the new content can be loaded from disk directly into the game, again without the need for any RPF changes. Goodbye to patchday17 and dlclist.xml. Certain mods, such as vehicles, can even be loaded at runtime, making choosing your new favorite ride a breeze.

    Hey friends,
This mod is back with new functionality and new settings to make even more
intelligent (in theory) drivers a.i, I am still looking for a way to get there
We are getting closer to an a.i excellent in traffic, you can be sure they still look a little like us in this mod since I have not yet managed to control some crazy people who are probably deliberately put in
    across our road.

    About
Tired of peds just vanishing after they're dead? Or how about vehicles after your suspect has fled? Scene managing itself before the corner and tow truck arrives? Delete your can of R-P-Gone with LSPD5! Boasting internal memory management, SMART Persistence, and an API to boot, this is the only persistence mod you'll ever need, for all your policing needs!

    FAQ
Q: Where'd all the traffic and people go?
A: You're probably found a mod collision. Use the in-game command 'LSPD5Bug' to generate a report, and upload it here.

Q: Why are there sometimes abandoned cars in the middle of the road?
A: Usually this means a crime was committed and the Ped should be nearby, or scene management was recently abandoned.

    Q: LSPD5 crashed!
A:  A report should be automatically generated to "./Grand Theft Auto 5/LSPD5 Bug Report Template.txt". Upload it here!

    Q: I found a bug!
A:  Use the in-game command 'LSPD5Bug' to generate a report, and upload it here.

    Features
    - Peds don't walk off after being revived. They (hopefully) just chill for now. (BETA)
    - SMART vehicle and ped persistence, with NO performance drop!
    - API to prevent mod collisions

    Known Bugs
    - Possible issues with StopThePed (ANOTHER Fix attempt in v0.5b)

    BOLO's
    - API Errors/unresponsiveness
    - Crashes while LSPD5 is loaded (It *SHOULD* now generate a report with crash details for you to upload here before reloading. *SHOULD*.)
    - Reductions in natural foot and vehicle traffic
    - Entities not persisting as long you'd expect
    - Entities not persisting at all

    FEATURES
    10 Star Wanted Level
6 Stars wasn’t enough. Illustrated by a darkening red hue, the wanted level can now go up to 10, allowing for more gradual escalation as the law responds to your path of destruction. You will also have a more difficult time shaking the law compared to 3.1 due to improvements and fixes made to chase AI and spawning.

    Overhauled Peds & Vehicles
Tons of new peds & vehicles have been added, and existing ones have had enormous facelifts to improve quality, diversity & polish.

Significant Performance & Stability Improvements Over 3.1
The wanted level script has received a major uplift. Performance issues have been fixed, allowing for the game to perform as though you’re running vanilla. LODs have been improved and expanded upon, and all of this combines to prevent recurring problems that plagued 3.1, such as crashes, pop-in and map streaming issues.

Enhanced Support For Story Missions & Cutscenes
Cutscenes have been modified to include RDE peds where necessary. In addition, scripting has allowed for RDE peds and vehicles to show up in various story and stranger missions.

    Updated LSPDFR Support
New compatibility files are included to allow for RDE peds and vehicles to be properly utilised when playing LSPDFR.

    Updated WOV Compatibility
A lite version of WOV 10.1 is integrated, adding a ton of extra detail to the game world alongside RDE’s assets. This includes the Gangs of Los Santos overhaul, which, combined with personality, loadout and relationship edits, makes South LS more dangerous than ever, both for the player and for the law. Thanks to Cass & LDNENG for permissions here.

PEV: Dispatch, Tactics, Ambience Remastered Features
Jayden585 was kind enough to provide optional files that allow RDE to make use of various PEV features, such as more intricate search AI and fine-tuned combat behaviour (You should still only install one mod or the other, not both).

    Countless Extra Features
Laser sights support for heli snipers (Thanks to AlexGuirre), improved loadouts, extra police weapon animations, overhauled roadblocks, additional wanted level music, corrected ped and vehicle soundbanks, new license plate designs, K9 response, paratroopers, restored ground response in certain zones like Mt Chiliad, high-speed response, streamlined script xmls, bug fixes. There’s even more, but we’ll let you experience it for yourself.

    RDE Lite
RDE Lite is included in the download section of this mod page. It's a more stripped down version of RDE, intended for users who'd like to make their own entirely custom dispatch setups from scratch.

    RDE DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
    RDE is:
Lore Friendly - each of the changes introduced does not stand out from the GTA universe created by Rockstar Games. The concepts introduced by Rockstar have instead been expanded and revamped with loving care.
Realistic - many of the introduced changes bring GTA V closer to real life - examples include new AI behaviours and tactics, agency jurisdictions, response types and more. However, realistic does not mean real - it’s still the GTA universe, just better.
Detailed - every aspect of the mod has been fine-tuned, from higher quality models and textures to new police stations. Even the tiny details such as port police officers replacing private security in relevant places in the Port of South LS are included, and many more details have been added to already existing models.
Fun - RDE has been made to be a challenging but fun experience. The specialised, built-from-ground-up wanted level system allows for truly epic chases and shootouts - but watch out! Cops have some new tools in their equipment, and they know how to use them - to great effect. Ten Stars is now in effect - can you survive the law enforcement agencies of San Andreas throwing everything they have at you?

    FAQ:
Q: I noticed a bug; how should I submit a report for it to be fixed?
A: Please provide a brief explanation of the bug and submit your logs. To do this open SixStarResponse.ini and make the following changes: “Debug=1” “NativeDebug=1” then save the ini. Reproduce the bug and open your SixStarResponse.log, gather the contents, use pastebin.com to post the log contents, and then submit the link to us with your description.

Q: Please help! I’m getting crash issues upon loading the game or selecting story mode.
A: There’s numerous things that could cause this. If a new game update is released it will require changes to the gameconfig, among various other potential file changes. If you have an excessive amount of extra vehicles or dlc archives in addition to RDE, that could cause issues with gameconfig as well. Our advice: Remove everything and start with a fresh mods folder (yes remove any other scripts as well) then install only RDE and slowly add the others back one by one; testing with each addition. We’ve also included Pool Manager, which, in particular circumstances, will tell you if a particular value in gameconfig is to blame for your crashing.

Q: I do not own a legal copy of the game, will this mod still work?
A: We only provide support for players with legal copies of the game.

Q: Can I develop my own configs for RDE and submit them on GTA5-mods/LSPDFR?
A: Not only are you allowed to do this but we encourage you to do so! However you are not permitted to share our files, models, scripts, etc. Only the config files are to be shared so be sure to have your users install RDE first before adding your mod/edits.

Q: Why is the game failing to load the multiplayer map?
A: This is most likely due to too many dlc archives being installed. RDE 4.0 by itself works fine with the mp map, so use some diligence when it comes to installing extra content on top of it that pushes the game past this limitation.

Q: Why are the cops not using their weapons correctly?
A: If you find yourself with cops just staring at you with bugged animations, that's because you've overwritten our weaponanimations.meta file located in update.rpf. To fix this, simply copy the contents here - https://pastebin.com/T8sdN3Dx
and paste them right at the top of the meta file, so it should end up looking like this - https://i.imgur.com/MBRPntd.png

Ask for passenger's identification Tell the driver the reason for pulling them over (27 default reasons so far, just comment any more ideas you have and I will try to add them) Ask general questions: "Where are you headed?" "Where are you coming from?" "Is the address on your license current?" "Do you own this vehicle?" "How do you know the passenger(s)?" Also gives details on traffic condition such as light, medium, or heavy (togglable) [NEW] Integrated Lite Court System Upon creating an arrest report, a court case will automatically be generated for the arrest There is a customizable amount of time between the arrest date and court date in the .ini file Active court cases options View name, charges, court date, and force early case hearing Past court cases options View name, charges, sentence, and delete one or all entries Sentences depend on severity and amount of charges [!!!IMPORTANT!!!] Due to the new court system, the XML structure of the Charges.xml has changed, adding a new attribute called "life" to every charge. If life is set to true, that charge can carry a life sentence. You must update old customized XML files to include this attribute for every charge or use the new ones provided, otherwise the game will crash [Coming Soon] Evidence system integration
    Known Bugs:
Sometimes arrested peds will leave the backseat of your vehicle and try to drive away. No known fix but to grab them and put them back in the vehicle. Probably a plugin interaction. Have not had happen to me in a while, please report for v2.2.1 if you encounter. Possibly fixed
    Installation:
Copy the "Plugins" folder to your main GTA V directory. Pick an XML to use depending on what search plugin you have for added realism! (not required) Enjoy!
Don't know what else to put here, just let me know if you find any bugs or if anything is unclear and I will try to fix it. Been a long road of development, thank you to everyone who has helped me on the way!

Enhance your LSPDFR experience with this mod which adds specific road names to the dispatch audio to give more immersion and realism.
For example, "Backup required in Grand Senora Desert", it will now be, "Backup required on Joshua Road" (Depending on what road you are on, of course). There are 250+ audio files that cover 99% of all roads in GTA V.
Credit to Rockstar Games as these audio files were ripped from GTA V using OPEN IV.
Please respect my work and DO NOT re-upload this add on anywhere else.

Ambient FX is a mod that seeks to enhance the effects used across the game in a very natural way. This first version has enhanced fire/smoke/smog effects for vehicles. These effects (both looped and non looped particle effects) will apply to ALL vehicles, not just the players. Smoke trails can now be seen blocks away, fire and embers effects have been enhanced, and a neat smog effect that grows depending on the amount of vehicles on fire as well being contained to that given area. I will be open to ideas and reasonable suggestions so please feel free to leave a comment. Keep in mind that most of my time is dedicated to RDE and so this is just a side project I cooked up.

This mod simulates the flight patterns of Southern California (more specifically, Los Angeles area) law enforcement air support helicopters. That is, they will orbit around a target entity or position instead of just hovering above. A spotlight will track the subject when night-time. You may also call for a backup heli anytime while on-duty.

You need the mods below for Citations+ to function. All credits for Computer+ and LSPDFR+ go to their respective creators and contributors.

Do you also find it annoying that different mods have different available citations and prices for them? Citations+ unifies the penalties across the mods included. There are also several new citations and charges available with existing callouts in mind. The citations and charges have been checked as much as possible with the Californian law. This includes the points and prices. Check out the video below to see how this will effect your work as a police officer.

If you want more citations or charges or if you find another mod that can be included, than please leave a comment below.

HotFuzz reacted to PieRGud for a file, Cop Holster
Cop Holster is an RPH plugin that adds some unique functionality to the police handgun holster. It removes the handgun from the holster if a pistol is a drawn. It also comes with intimidation mode -- a simple feature that allows you to put your hand on your holster. Cop Holster works with both the player and AI officers.

Here's a neat little GFY showing it in action:

    Requirements
    RAGEPluginHook 0.23 or higher.

    Installation
Place CopHolster.dll and CopHolster.xml in your Plugins folder.
When ingame, open the RPH console (default F4) and type LoadPlugin CopHolster.dll.

    Features
Dynamic holsters for both the player an AI officers. Animations that automatically play when holstering and unholstering. Intimidation mode, a feature that allows you to put your hand on your holster. Toggle with Right Shift Key (keyboard) or Left DPad (controller). Highly configurable! Turn off animations, change keys, add new ped models for Cop Holster support, you name it.
    Questions
Does this come with RDE support?
The RDE Cop Holster config file is in the RDE 3.1 download.

Does this come with EUP support?
Yes. Cop Holster comes with support for EUP 7.5.

    How does Cop Holster work?
All ped models in GTA have what are called drawables. They are pieces of clothing or equipment that can vary between instances of that model. Many of the default cop models have two holster drawables. One is empty, and one has a pistol. Cop Holster simply changes between those two drawables depending on if you have your pistol drawn or not to give the illusion that you are taking the pistol out of the holster.

I'm a ped model developer and would like to make my model work with Cop Holster. How would I go about doing that?
See the readme in the download.

    BETA Testers wanted!!
    Apply here.

UPDATE: VERSION 0.1.2 NOW AVAILABLE. Some new callouts have been added, however due to my game not working at the moment they remain in an untested state, if you encounter any bugs please inform me by being as detailed as possible, IE: when the bug/crash happened, had you accepted the callout yet, were you arriving on scene, as well as any other information that you can think of.

Ravenguard callouts is a collection (two in total so far), that would be expected in the everyday duties of Officers, yet I have not seen them implemented in other plugins.

I just started learning to develop callouts, and this is a learning process. I intend for their to be more callouts, not sure on the amount but I would like to develop at least 5-8 different and unique callouts. I am releasing this in an early beta form and this is not to represent the final product.

I have tested this with most of the major callout plugins that you find on here and have had no issues so far. If you find something please leave a comment and a log if you get one. Screenshots are nice to.

    Current Callouts:
Domestic Disturbance (Two people are fighting and caller says one of them has a gun, this plugin will develop alot more with future releases)
Dead Body in Car (Someone called 911 saying that they think there is a dead body in a car, respond to the vehicle and find out)

    Future features that are planned:
Domestic dispute between neighbors (Handle the call as you see fit)
Stolen Vehicle (Want to add more depth to a stolen vehicle call. If the suspect pulls over will he tell you that you his gf is trying to get him arrested after a fight? Will he take off and attempt to flee? Or will he open fire on you as you approach. I would like to make it so there are many things possible for the suspect to do)

    As suggested by BlueSteelShield:
    Prowler
    Vandalism
    Parking violation
    Forgery(money)
    Accident(ped vs car)
    Missing person

And more will be added as I develop the callouts, also any ideas would be great I will do my best to implement the things the community wants.

Thank you for downloading Ravenguard Callouts!

Miscellaneous Callouts adds a variety of new callouts to the game. The callouts don't really follow a theme, just anything that I find interesting and hasn't already been done. I will continue to tweak and add variety to the existing callouts as well as adding new ones in the future. Requests are welcome!

    Existing Callouts

    Gang Activity
Gangs have taken to the streets (literally!) and it is up to you to stop the violence!

    Arrest Warrant
A warrant has been issued and you have taken the call to pick them up, but they may not go down without a fight.

    Bar Fight
Two bar patrons have just been ejected from a bar for fighting, but now they're fighting on the street, making it your problem.

    Hit & Run
A hit and run has occurred, so its time to put the pedal to metal and chase the suspect down, right?! Nope. You get to be back up today! Arrive on scene and make sure it is secure and take the witness statement. There is no one to hunt down, there is no pursuit, you job is JUST to secure the scene. (This works best with BetterEMS and Traffic Policer so you have barriers.)

    Videos
My callout starts at 6 minutes in, however I very much recommend the entire video. Thanks @Doug for the feature! (:

HotFuzz reacted to BLacKHaLLoW for a file, ECED: Extended Corona Expansion Distance
    ECED
ECED is a visual mod for emergency lighting coronas that allows them to be viewed at extreme distances.

It only works on coronas, and will not work with LED lights.
ECED is now compatible with LED textures.

If some coronas are hidden behind components but present, they will not be as bright at a distance as the exposed ones.
There are options for amber indicators on or off/default.

There is a new option for those who feel their cars get dirty too fast.

Linked below is a video demonstration, as screenshots don't accurately represent the distant lights.

    TIPS
I recommend you turn on DOF. This setting requires a restart to take effect.
I recommend combining this mod with either Fenix2525WOT's Emergency Lighting Revolution or thegreathah's Enhanced Emergency Lighting.
With ECED stacked on top of a modified carcols file, less powerful PC's will have an FPS drop. Lower your shadow quality to combat this.
You can also lower your reflection quality during night patrols for an FPS boost when combined with a carcols.ymt file.

    ELS
ELS is disabled at a certain radius around the player.
When conditions are met, LED textures will vanish as intended.
However, the coronas will stay visible because of ECED, just as they always have been.
This is why you will see your LEDs on a non-ELS towtruck at a distance, but not on your LEO ELS Vehicles.

THIS MOD WILL OVERWRITE VISUALV TIMECYCLE FILES

HERE IS A VIDEO DETAILING WHAT YOU WILL EXPECT FROM THIS PLUGIN:

THANKS TO AFG!!! FOR DOING THIS!!! I like it a lot! Thank you so much!

The only downside, is indeed the fact that you have to reload it every time! But none of the less, it will be fixed in upcoming versions and more added.

I PLAN ON RELEASING MULTIPLE PACKAGES SO YOU CAN SEE MORE. FOR INSTANCE, ONE PACKAGE WILL CONTAIN DIFFERENT CARS AND PED  MODELS THAT ATTACK YOU>>>

THE NEXT PACKAGE WILL CONTAIN THE DISTANCE AT WHICH THEY SPAWN IN AT. WHETHER IT BE LONG OR SUPER LONG. (THIS ONE WAS JUST LONG)

I did it at the airport because I wanted you guys to see the spawn, and how he will attack you.
    PM me with any questions!

As you are just patrolling around in your patrol car, you may notice somone approaching very aggressively! This makes your senses tingle, you react and try to get him to stop! But you can't. What do you do now?
Or say that you are sitting there with your box of donuts and are just about to enjoy them all when you get shot at out of no where!!!

    Installation is easy:
Take the two files, and place it in the plugins folder and thats it.
Once in game, load the plugin and press enter and wait for your fate!

Once you or the enemy has been defeated, to give the plugin another shot, load it again in the rage console, and press enter again. _This is a bug, that will be fixed coming newer versions.

This is my FIRST plugin. It is meant for a LSPDFR episode. It adds realism in a certain way. Add in the comments if you think you know how it does!

This modification may be incompatible with other modifications that use controller bindings. (ELS being one of them)

Unfortunately, some (if not all) sets may remove the ability to scroll up in a menu using DpadUp.

Changing weapons in your vehicle using TAB or the scroll wheel will crash your game if you're using a set that removes weapon select.

This can be fixed by removing or changing the key bindings in the game settings

I recommend using Xpadder or Controller Companion to fix any issues regarding controller bindings

THIS IS A BETA RELEASE! This has been tested on several computers but there is the potential for errors with different configurations!
To use, simply download the installer, run it, and then start the program after it finishes installing. When it starts it will try to find your GTA5 folder. If it can't, it will ask you to find it.
Then you can check for conflicts using the interface, and once you're happy with your files, you can display a printable key mapping for easier lookup.
