I completely agree with you guys that it is annoying and repetitive hearing the same siren on all ELS emergency vehicles in-game. It's just a matter of time until ELS V gets an update with the other sirens' audio strings functioning. Hopefully won't be too long, seen as ELS hasn't had an update in nearly two months.

This is only a temporary and very messy fix. Here's to hoping ELS will get an update soon with all the siren tone hashes cracked because I really need them! I also wish there was a way to force the AMBULANCE_WARNING and POLICE_WARNING tones to play from the start!

@Jambo9 If you cannot see any coronas in the distance or they are positioned in odd places on the vehicle, then this is the vehicle author's fault for not setting them up properly. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it if that's the case, the best you could try is going into visualSettings.dat and increasing "car.defaultlight.day.emissive.on" and "car.defaultlight.night.emissive.on". Values between 2000.0 and 9000.0 tend to work well. This should help increase bloom overall.

@Jambo9 The issue with the bloom diminishing as you move away from the vehicle is not exactly an issue in itself, it's just the way GTA 5's bloom works. To mitigate the problem, you need to go into ELS.ini and change the "LodCoronaInitDistance" to "1.0". This will allow coronas to work on all your ELS vehicles, making the lights appear brighter in the distance.

You can't for now unfortunately. You can only use the main police siren tones. No info on other audio strings, they need cracking as they are coded somewhere I believe. Hopefully someone can give some info on this as I haven't heard anywhere about it.

@GravelRoadCop When will the other audio strings for all the other sirens be cracked?

I would also like to know this. At the moment I don't think it's possible due to their audio strings not being located, but I do hope someone can give us some input on it.

@10 DAVID Thanks man, appreciate it. I am trying to find visual mods that get rid of excessive PostFX so that I can up them to high without lag. If that fails then I will try to make the most out of the visual mods you have recommended. Merry Christmas.

I was wondering when ELS V will be able to use the other ambulance, fire, fbi and sheriff sirens in-game. I'm led to believe it's their audio strings haven't been cracked? How long will this take as this was one much anticipated feature of the mod? Regards.

@10 DAVID Maybe increasing the bloom or a certain setting in visualsettings.dat may help? I will try that. It's just that ELS doesn't use coronas and with GTA V's default lighting the coronas make the lights looks decent. Shame really.

@jumperman09 Yes I have put the PostFX and shaders up and it works a little however I don't have the most high spec PC and putting those settings up causes lag, so I need a different workaround.

@jumperman09 Nope, but I have tried it before and this does not fix the problem. Radiance (and all other mods similar) only make the actual light texture brighter and not that 'glow' effect.

Hi there, My lighting on ELS V is very dull with lack of glow, bloom or coronas. I was wondering if there was a workaround WITHOUT INCREASING POSTFX OR SHADER QUALITY IN GRAPHICS OPTIONS? So without doing that, how can I get better lights? It makes ELS seem poor and disappointing. Thanks.

No problem. Just as some extra info and for future reference, these sirens: Are Premier Hazard 9000 series (the two latest models - Shockwave and Sonic)

It's a Premier Hazard for sure, possibly 8000 series or a 7000 series model.

What exactly is the sequence of numbers and do you need to change the BPM or whatever. It's a bit confusing.

Could you tell me how you got that flash pattern? (the sequence or whatever). Thanks.

I've tested it out briefly last night, there were no chases but still the odd cop car responding to calls which I'm fine with. What about you?
