  1. Are you able to do a lore friendly version of these?
  2. First of all I have RadianceV and my PostFx to Ultra. When up close to ELS cars the light bars look great. However as soon as I get a few feet away the light bars get increasingly bad to look at. For comparison picture nonELS is what a non ELS car looks like from a distance. See how the lights are bright and vibrant and distinguishable? Now els1 and els2 (for the sake of experiment I used 2 different models from 2 different creators) are what ELS cars look like from a distance. They are roughly the same length away but as you can see the entire light bar is consolidated into 1 light! Is there any way to make my ELS cars the same way as non els from afar?
  3. Any plans on a lore version of this pack?
  4. So when you have RadianceV installed, the lightbar on non-els cars is bright and visible, even far away. However, with ELS cars if you walk away a couple feet, the lightbar is super washed out. Is this fixable or is the trade off for environmental lighting, washed out lightbars?
  5. Never said it should be used as an incentive. I don't see how community voting would change the narrative of that category. As it stands now, making a mod essential so that other mods depend on is already an incentive. If the community sees a certain mod as essential then why shouldn't it be given a spot in that category? You aren't giving it the title of essential because the mods author did a great job and has X number of downloads, your giving it that title because the LSPDFR community sees it as essential. With your current definition really on 3 of those mods should be there.
  6. How are "essential mods" decided. Don't get me wrong something like Cop Holster is a great addition to your game but its hard to argue that it's more essential than STP or UB. Just an idea but maybe the essential mod selection can be voted on by the community every few months.
  7. I agree with you that trust, reliability, and quality are very important and are usually a given when a mod is released from a big name author. Like I said in my original post, when the mega mod(s) and the development of said mods work, it's great. The problem is when it breaks down. Like you I would rather have my mods from one developer or developer(s). However, a players LSPDFR mod pack shouldn't be stopped to a standstill when said developer decides to remove or stop developing their mods (maybe open sourcing is a solve?? Who knows). To be clear I am not blaming the developers (its not their job to make sure the modding community is solid without them). In regards to issues with new developers, alot of problems stem from long standing issues that previous developers have expressed.
  8. I don't know if this is a "hot take" or not but this is the problem with this mega mod culture. First, let me say this: I appreciate his work and I wish him the best. I also hope for his return as his plugins help improve LSPDFR. With this being said, it seems like the trend nowadays of this community is reliance on mega mods and mega mod developers. When it works mega mods are ideal especially if most are developed by the same developer. You don't have to worry about the mods being incompatible and usually these mods come with important and significant updates semi-regularly . The problem is when something goes "wrong" (developer loses interest, gets burned out, personal life needs more attention, etc.). These mods then stop being developed and what is left is a community that is in great need of another developers mod to fill in the hole that has been created. However, it is usually the case where it takes a long time for this to happen. I mean if you are a new developer why would you try to create a plugin that directly competes with these mega mods that are almost essential to a modded LSPDFR. You run the almost certain risk of being overshadowed. So what happens instead is alot of small niche mods are created and we have to wait for someone to fill the void (which tends to start the cycle again). Now you really can't fix this as its not so much a "problem" as it is a mentality and culture but it is something you should at least think about. For now my rant (if you can even call it one) is over. Just food for thought.
  9. Looks great! Any plans for a CVPI or FPIS?
  10. Is there a way to remove the winter outfits from responding? Kinda seems weird when calling for backup and I am in a short sleeve shirt and they roll up in full on winter gear.
  11. Don't know if its the mods fault but some of the intersections are broken (all lights go green at the same time and chaos ensues )
  12. Does this persistence mod still conflict with stop the ped?
  13. Before it is said, I am aware of the one by FtDLulz but it hasn't been updated since 2016. Was wondering if there any other plugins like it.
  14. I turned all of those on low. I will try it, but with my computer o shouldn't be getting any lag. Never had any problems with 0.3b.
  15. I am getting very noticeable FPS drop and stuttering during these conditions: Pursuits or any events created by LSPDFR near a lot of grass or dirt/sand (All of Blaine County and near the oil part of the city) Pursuits near big bodies of water If you are in a helicopter all areas have a noticeable stutter sometimes Again, the only thing I have installed is LSPDFR. My specs are ((R9 390, i5-4460, 24 GB of RAM)
  16. Apparently it wouldn't even matter lmao
  17. @LMS @SamI don't know if you are still keeping track of this thread but I narrowed my issues (Stuttering and fps drop) down to a few scenarios. Pursuits or any events created by LSPDFR near a lot of grass or dirt/sand (All of Blaine County and near the oil part of the city) Pursuits near big bodies of water If you are in a helicopter all areas have decent stutter Again, the only things I have installed are LSDFR, Player Location Display, and a trainer) My specs are ((R9 390, i5-4460, 24 GB of RAM)
  18. I have been experiencing massive stuttering with just base LSPDFR. I have a decent computer also (r9 390, i5-4460, 24 GB ram ddr3)
  19. Typically adding visual mods doesn't increase performance. And it's not so much a base fps issues as it's a stuttering issue.
  20. Yeah this is what I was experiencing when I created the post. Same issues.
  21. I also have been experiencing a lot of micro stuttering and fps drops even though I have a decent computer (R9 390, i5-4460, 24 GB of RAM). This is w/o having anything installed except LSPDFR and a trainer. My lag/stutter seems random it happens during pursuits, callouts, just driving around
  22. So I have a decent computer (R9 390, i5-4460, 24 GB of RAM) and my LSPDFR has no car mods or anything other than a trainer. But every 2 seconds the game stutters. Base GTA 5 I get 60+ FPS. Is there any thing I can do to eliminate this?
