    Give this a try:

    Do exactly this:

    1. In OpenIV, go to:
    update > x64 > dlcpacks> patchdayXng where X = the highest number you can see. Note that it is not in the mods folder.

    2. Right click on "dlc.rpf" in that folder and click "Copy to mods folder".

    3. You should now be automatically inside the archive.

    4. In that archive, go to
    x64 > levels > gta5 > vehicles.rpf 5. Click the green plus button + and add the vehicles files from your download.

    6. To make your life easier, right click on the file type bar (where it says Name, Type, Size, Attributes and Tags) and click on (no).

    Good luck! If you have any other issues do not hesitate to reply back :)

    My apologies, I go absolutely mental when I get unfixable issues. You see I only have a few other games to play. I do understand it's a free service in this forum etc. sorry!

    Uh oh - It was a script. That's just cringe.
    Now it's down to testing each script. I'll leave here which script conflicts with lcpdfr, for others to use

    the issue was finkone's script police orders

    Completely fixed. Thank you so much. Game ran for 2 hours without a single texture missing.

    Method:

    Download and install Paint.NET Get the .ytd file of the vehicle you installed in OpenIV and open it with OpenIV Drag the livery somewhere and open it with Paint.NET (the livery usually has "sign_1" or "sign_2" etc. in the name) In Paint.NET, go to Image > Resize and type in 2048 as the width and the height. Don't worry about the other values. Save and close. The format is DXT5 In OpenIV, make sure edit mode is on. Open the same .ytd again, click import, and click on the livery you found. Click save.  Quit and launch game.

    sjain got a reaction from Officer K Slimm in need some help on EUP and police partner
    You will need a mod to modify the MP character. Specifically designed for EUP, is EUPMenu. I highly recommend it. Extract to your "Plugins" folder in your GTA folder.

    Go on duty as normal. Go to the police station, don't worry about your character, and get a police vehicle.

    Then, after you are free to walk around or drive in your vehicle, make sure you are not in a vehicle and press F11. Then, in the menu that appears, I can't remember eactly how you do it, but you need to create a new character.

    For points one and three, these are mostly design choices. We don't really have the time at the moment to go back and review these, but will consider this in the distant future. We are working on a page that will show all featured/trending files separately that we feel would work better.
    Point two is definitely annoying and I'll see if we can get a fix in for that by end of week.

    I'm having the same problem. I added +livery at the end too but it still won't work! Its so frustrating. Then I spawn about 20 of the same model to get the texture I want!

    Ah then this is actually a different problem, if you are on a laptop with NVIDIA Optimus

    If that is not the case and it "fixed", then actually d3d9.dll was never injected, as the video drivers simply are not looking for this, so the enb libraries cant be injected as d3fx.dll so you effectively have no enb and just the visualsettings effects.

    You need to just untick "disable fullscreen optimisations" in Properties > Compatibility of GTAIV.exe. You can keep it as d3d9.dll. try it 🙂

    Disable fullscreen optimisation, disable all Windows 10 gaming stuff from the Settings app, and are you using an ENB and what mods are you using.

    Sorry you have to have this, its annoying as fuck. I never had it but ENBs only return a black screen for me.

    Some really good questions presented here and great responses from Steve. Been watching for a long time, no I am not saying that to brag - it pretty much made a part of my childhood, the sheer realism and fun, and Steve was always the guy with all the mods. Very fun to watch, he plays so well and realistically, using every feature, and don't even get me started on the variety, he would fine tune his game to the role he was playing and there were so many different roles and games and playstyles... The effort really shows! Overall, very unique experience to watch Steve's videos, and not to mention that all the content is free to watch. Best wishes to Steve for the future and happiness! Because you damn well deserve it. And let's not forget he's a badass :P

    Sorry for "necroing" such an old thread. But figure i'd provide you guys and anyone else with a possible fix on this. I had the same issue and realized that it was after I setup ELS that it started happening. The AI would drive perfectly fine chasing them from a distance but when I got up on their tail and changed siren tones they would stop steering and immediately crash. I went in the ELS .ini file and turned the two lines below to "false". This seemed to fix it so far, I will come back and edit it if i'm incorrect. I only tried on a few different callouts.

    ElsActiveOnAi = false
    ElsTrafCtrlOn = false

    I don't notice a difference with traffic control turned off. AI still yield the same way.

    Thanks so much :) Now I just have to deal with the "Pursuit of armed suspects" callout crashing the whole game. Probably an outdated callout plugin messing with it.
