Is there any way to integrate this with the LSPDFR Backup menu or do I always have to use the specific key ";" ? Also, I am getting random calls of like "Office down and Ambulance responding", but I can't seem to accept that call or do to it unless I maybe drive 10 mph behind the ambulance that I found on my map. Am I missing something here?

Come on guys, is there seriously no one who helps in here? All I see are unanswered questions for the most part. Where is the ELS trouble shooting forum where there is actually help? Is there any way to get indicator strobe coronas ONLY for light stage 3 so that they do not come on at light stage 2 similar to the Halogen option?- 2,671 comments

There's a cautious driver mod out there that you can google which makes all drivers much less aggressive on every account. See if that works for you.

Thank you guys, I have my stage 3 setup, but I need strobes at ONLY light stage 3 and off at 2. This is a big bummer. Why would Lt. Caine do that, that makes no sense.

Need your help guys. Is there ANY way possible to make strobe coronas come on ONLY at light stage 3. I don't know why its currently coded for strobe coronas to come on during light stage 2 and halogens only at light stage 3. Is there a work around this? I really need some strobes for ONLY light stage 3. Please help.

Well anywhere from like 2007-2011 I guess would work. That year that was the longest running LAPD car with the Arjent bar and hubcaps.

Finally, awesome. The LAPD Crown Vic with the hub caps and Arjent bar. I can do all the ELS lighting, but would make it easier if it already had extras on it and I can just make it correct and move things around correctly. Is that possible?

Anyone want to work with me on this project? I basically just need the Crown Vic setup and ready to go and I will do all the ELS lights. I find it so odd that there isn't a single authentic LAPD Crown Vic in the Los Angeles GTA V game. Am I the only one who still cares or enjoys authenticity? Im not so good with putting all the car files together within the hierarchy especially now with my new zmod and with GTA V, but I am really good at the ELS aspect. I also lived in LA for a huge part of my life so I know these cars like the back of my hand. I also made many cars for GTA IV, but I don't know how to convert them over to GTA V. I will take any help I can get. Lets do this.

I am attaching my keyboardConfig file. All I want is J to turn on my ELS lights, sirens to be toggled with 1-4, and my air horn using Y. That is it, but your siren mod seems to have a mind of its own and just does whatever it wants. What am I doing wrong? Now here is what is really happening with this current config ini file that I attached and you will see it doesn't match up to what I have entered in. Tapping J to turn on ELS lights makes siren blips and then on code 3 lighting stage for ELS the siren ALWAYS activates automatically. How in the heck can I make it so the siren doesn't come on automatically when ELS is in lighting stage 3? Also, when hitting Y, the horn doesn't work or do anything. I finally got the sirens to align with 1-4. So here is what I need and feel free to download my config file and fix it for me if you can, or just tell me what I need to input. 1. How to make the siren not come on automatically for ELS stage 3? 2. How do I turn off the siren blips when turning on ELS lights which is "J" for ELS? It would seem the siren mod is hard coded for J and stuck there even if assigned to "None". 3. How to get the airhorn to be key "Y"? Check out my config file to see what I currently have. Why does it always seem my keys in the ini file are not responsive. G and Y are assigned and do nothing and keys that I don't have typed in seem to do things. J should have nothing to do with the siren since I don't have it for any option and yet it controls the siren and does the siren blips. I also have manual siren set to None and yet "O" still controls it. Also, trying to change my forced dual siren key to LCtrl does nothing and LShift still works. I feel like I am not even editing the right file, but I have checked many times and I am. What the heck is going on? Thank you. KeyboardConfig.ini

Well that's exciting. How about the ELS lighting? Its been so frustrating since there have been only a few ELS LAPD cars, but they all seem to miss it with the 3 stage lighting setup. Its so unrealistic. I have been willing to help, but no one trusts no body anymore these days and since GTA V, I have been out of the modding game for a little while, but in GTA IV, I have a long list of cars and was a pretty popular modder back then with highlighted cars every other month. So, I would be glad to help or fine tune the LAPD especially since I lived in LA for a huge part of my life and was constantly getting videos for other modders making CHP/Culver City/El Segundo/LAPD etc. LAPD lighting goes like this for the Crown Vics Arjent bar. Stage 1: single rear amber lights ONLY and nothing else O - - - - - and - - - - - O Stage 2: Double rear amber lights and now front Red/Blue steady burns OO - - - - and - - - - OO Stage 3: All lights in code 3 mode. Takedowns should be option ] and side alleys Alt-] or ] and [, either way. Simple enough, but no one is doing this, because most don't know how. I did it for my cars and my LAPD car in GTA IV, have a look https://youtu.be/nRvGFffpmpo If you do this, you will have the ONLY and first authentic LAPD car with ELS for GTA V. So please add this correct 3 stage lighting. Thanks.... Oh and go easy on the in car computer screen brightness. That's always a breaker for me since GTA V now has the auto iris feature. Hey just a heads up, the common LAPD Crown Vics DO NOT have the push bar. It appears from your pics that you are have a push bar on common version and not on the k9. If you needed any authenticity help, I lived in LA for a huge part of my life. I also made a lot of police cars for GTA IV and specialized in surrounding cities such as my famous El Segundo car and many others such as Culver City and more. I will PM you also for other details.

Darn you're one step ahead of me. I lived in LA for a huge part of my life and am trying to get my hands on a nice LAPD model for GTA V to make the lights correct for ELS. I was a big modder in the GTA IV game, but I haven't learned how to transfer those files over yet. You need help with the lights for ELS? Im your man and know how it should be down to the smallest details. Look me on to see all my other files. I have the El Segundo car as well which you might be interested in since its the city surrounding LAX. -

Anyone going to release a realistic LAPD crown vic. I know we have maybe two ELS versions right now, but I am sorry they are just not realistic with their lighting mixed with ELS. I have offered to help out with the authenticity, but no one has taken me up on that. For someone who has lived in LA for a long time and also made many LAPD cars in the past, I definitely know. Anyone up for working with me on a perfect authentic LAPD. I just need a ported GTA V version and I can get you guys the best. If someone else knows of a good LAPD crown vic out there that I missed that worked perfectly with this ELS, let me know. And no, the few on here are not even close and "Twistedscopes" refuses to go for authenticity for his version and LAPD pack. Seems like no one cares anymore about realism. "Just make your own then if you know how to mod." I knew you were going to say that, so yeah thats a great idea, I just don't have a GTA V ported model yet. I have hundreds of parts, cars, etc. for GTA IV, but just haven't looked into how to port over yet and my time is limited to really learn all that tight now. So I just need an unlocked ported model and I can do all the lights for ya. Please consider it since GTA V really needs a perfect LAPD model with ELS.

Did we all just decide to settle? Anyone have a ready ELS Arjent bar car that we can mod for the best most authentic LAPD experience? There are a few LAPD cars on here, but they are okay will settling with an incomplete unfinished car. I sure would love to take on the project and finish it up right.

Well I have the most accurate car and many others that are very close and some are unlocked models I believe. I worked closely with CJ24 on my last one and then with Sgt. Kanyo on our first one. Then he went on to making some other great realistic options. See people like these guys and myself included are all about making it the most realistic as possible. So I am contemplating trying to get my old LAPD from GTA IV as a GTA V car. I am still hoping one of those LAPD guys that already has an ELS car will either let me help them or they will hear us talking and just do it. Its such an easy fix and I could do it in probably 30 min or over a few days depending on time allowed.

Ideally its would be best to collaborate with someone who already has the GTA V LAPD car and I would do the lights or correct the lights for them. If that is not possible, then maybe someone can help me convert my GTA IV car/cars to GTA V cars since I haven't done that before and don't know where to start.

Hey guys, now that ELS is out we can make the cars as authentic as the real deal. This is what I specialize in as I lived in LA for a huge part of my life and I always tried to put the most realism into my cars in GTA IV. I had a long list of cars I made such as the El Segundo, Culver City, LAPD, LSPD, CHP, and many many more all with correct 3 stage lighting setup. All these were perfectly accurate and I want to do it again. So far we have maybe 2 LAPD ELS cars, but sorry to say they are close, but no cigar. Lets do it right this time. Here is the problem. I just upgraded to zmod 3 and I haven't made a police car yet for GTA V. I have all my parts arjent bars, crown vics and you name it, BUT I have no clue on how to import a GTA IV car into zmod3 to convert it for GTA V yet and someone was telling me that I had to do a lot of stuff to convert it. So would someone be willing to help me get my old car into zmod3 and convert it, or would someone want to collaborate with me that already has this all set up for GTA V and I can finalize the lights for ya? Lets do this guys. Come on, don't leave me hangin. The community and myself will all benefit from this. Here is a quick video of how the first and second stage should be on the real LAPD car. This video is only to show stage 1 and stage 2. Stage 3 pattern is incorrect because I didn't set it up in the config file yet which is a easy fix. Also, it doesn't have the correct LAPD hubcap wheels yes I know and yes that is Tony Stark driving. Lets do this, who's in?

So far there are a few LAPD cars that work for ELS, but man they just don't know how to do the correct lighting patterns. For GTA IV I was an expert in making the perfect authentic lighting patterns and setups for all my cars. Would someone be willing to allow me to work on their LAPD crown vic to get it correctly set up for ELS V please? Its frustrating since I lived in LA for so long and I keep seeing these releases keep missing it. Its so simple, but I just need a model to work on. Anyone? You would be doing all of us a huge favor.
