[REL] Coastal Callouts Discussion Thread
Like it or not, regardless of the why's, PNWParksFan developed this mod in his own time and can do with it what he wants. If he doesn't want to release it (in the near future or at all), that is his choice.

Can not Report Crime - Key not working
I only use keyboard, I will try your suggestion and see what happens. Thanks for the response.

PeterUCallouts
Try and run PeterUCallouts only. Are you able to force spawn a call by Opening the Rage console Type startcallout and then select a callout that is not the default one Exit out of the console and accept the call (if it shows)

To add to the previous crashes, I took the "Vehicle with an Insecure Load" and as soon as the blip was created, LSPDFR crashed. I have attached my RagePluginHook.log below. RagePluginHook.log EDIT: I see that @Fonzi55 error "[4/17/2019 3:08:32 PM.062] LSPD First Response: [FATAL] OnBeforeCalloutDisplayed crashed: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object." Is similar/same to mine: [4/20/2019 4:18:49 PM.295] LSPD First Response: Exception type: System.NullReferenceException [4/20/2019 4:18:49 PM.295] LSPD First Response: Exception message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Hopefully that means something haha

Can not Report Crime - Key not working
So, I installed Ultimate Backup, which used the B key to open it, so I disabled the default backup key. I then realised that I couldn't report crime, so I changed that key to X. After this, whenever I go in-game, it says "Report the crime by pressing " and doesn't show a key. I have tried switching it back to B, but to no avail. I have attached my keys below, maybe I am missing something? Edit: Here is a screenshot of all the plugins that I use, but I don't believe there should be a conflict keys.txt

More Robberies
Does as it says on the tin. Whilst I have been playing, using this mod, I have seen no errors or crashes, which is good. The obvious down side of this is that the (same) callout is already included in 0.4. This is your first plugin and callout, which is why I gave a 5 star, because you have said what it does and it has done just that. Maybe you could expand on the robberies and have a gun point robbery in an alleyway somewhere or a cop being held at gun point in a traffic stop? Thanks for the callout - I'll be on the look out for any future releases from you 🙂

GTA IV
As annoying as this bug was/is, it reminds me of just how far this mod has come.

LSPDFR 0.4.1 - Now Available
As long as there wasn't a GTA 5 update that broke ScriptHook, it shouldn't need updating.

It is definitely not because you are from the UK, as it works for me, plus most of the creators are from the UK, including Sam. What do you mean by "on launch seems to divert to steam and then wants to update"? Have you tried letting it update?

UK Callouts
To quote Simon Pegg in Hot Fuzz: "It is called a Road Traffic Collision, as Accident removes any blame."

Yes it does. I got a crash when dealing with 2 stopped peds at the same time, but other than that, it has run smoothly for me.

LSPDFR Crash when the suspects went out of sight
Very nice to know, thank you for your work, always top class 🙂

Oh, that sounds pretty cool. Gonna try this out, thanks 🙂

Flashlight size, flashlight not working, stop the ped bugs and so on...
Maybe that is caused by the player's character not being a 'cop' model in-game, resulting in them seeing you as a criminal, therefore shooting you. This must be a fairly rare bug though, as I have yet to experience it.

Not strictly true, it could be a certain set of inputs and/or events that are needed to cause the bug to occur that you may not have experienced yet. What were you doing when the police officers were attacking you? Were the police officers spawned in as backup or were they ambient? What situation was currently occurring when it took place?

LSPDFR Crash when the suspects went out of sight
So, I was pursuing an armoured car with 4 people inside, who 'somehow' ended up flying off of the side of the road at the airport. As soon as they went out of sight from all police, a black X was marked on the map to show their last position and then LSPDFR crashed. It wasn't a crash to desktop, just a crash in game. Crash error: Full Log is attached to this thread. RagePluginHook.log

LSPDFR 0.4 - Official Discussion Topic
LSPDFR is mainly designed for it's main functionality to come from plugins. For example, pdhHelper for GTA IV (I think it was called that, it's been too long 😛 ) added all of this functionality you mentioned, it wasn't in the base game. Same with GTA V, these "basic functions" simply aren't "basic functions". I think that LSPDFR is gives the core functions to be able to play the game as a police officer, whilst appealing to all play styles, from realistic to fun (slight bias). It does give the core functionality with the ability to arrest people, call for backup, call in pursuits, request information on people and has a full API to allow plugins to be able to tap into it's database and expand that core functionality. Simply, you don't need to be able to request tow trucks to tow away wrecked vehicles after pursuits, you just need to be able to start a pursuit and enjoy it. All of the other stuff after that are simply extras. That is just my 2 cent though.

IMO it isn't necessary for them to add this, as plugins, such as Traffic Policer and Stop The Ped do them as good as they can be done. It would have just wasted their time, which I assume they have a life outside of LSPDFR, so it will be limited. Also peds freaking out when you shoot your gun (bug #4) is basic AI behaviour in GTA, there are some plugins out there to limit/prevent this, such as Keep Calm. I am fairly certain that bug #5 isn't a bug, but a feature. Adds a bit of randomness to pursuits to make them more exciting and dramatic 😄

Don't think this is the place to ask that, but I will answer regardless, moderators feel free to delete if you deem necessary. In the computer plus ini file, scroll down to the [KEYBINDINGS] section, the first keybind will be called 'OpenComputerPlusKey=E', simply change the E to Q, so it will look something like 'OpenComputerPlusKey=Q'
