  1. Also when cops start to act up, stealing vehicles you're investigating, trying to kill handcuffed suspects, etc. You can now actually shoot them rather than standing around in front of them shouting. Although I haven't noticed any of the old issues with 0.3 yet.
  2. I dunno then I'm not having that issue at all, even with my usual habit in calling in 2 additionals I'm still rarely at more than 4 cars by the end, often without a helicopter either.
  3. Well you could try not calling additional backup. As far as I can tell its back to the LCPDFR system where units around you will also join in on the pursuit. Its not a case of the callout adding additional units to the call, so much as units that are already in the area jumping in. I personally haven't had anything overwhelming as of yet, well ... unless I spammed the backup button ...
  4. It'll probably be Vice City. Although I won't rule out the possibility of either something completely new, or London that's not called London. But obviously the developers are Scottish and seem to like taking the piss out of appealing to Americans these days.
  5. Well it works, or at least it seems to, unfortunately it seems to interpret "Broken Clouds" as "Overcast". And its idea of "Overcast" seems to be light showers ... Since its been rather cloudy here today its been raining all day in game. But so far that's my only complaint. http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/642124483750299361/06153A0A9431FAA5685D1BECEE556CECE1E24C23/ Interested to see how it handles snow. EDIT1: Another weird thing, when the plugin is loaded it seems that the keyboard is no longer locked when you're in Rage's F4 console. Same goes for LSPDFR's backup and interaction menus, scrolling up though them brings the phone out, when it doesn't normally. https://youtu.be/tsYcA-yA2Go EDIT2: Also noticed it seems to for some reason disable ADS in first person, so I'm going to go ahead and uninstall this because it, with my previous issues, is just causing more irritations than its worth.
  6. Only complaint is that if I go too far away my own car also despawns now, which isn't something that was an issue before. Otherwise very useful.
  7. Re downloaded, reinstalled, double checked installation, issue persists. I suspect the issue is with the mod itself not just the downloaded files. I'm not really sure where I should be going for messing with files myself since I haven't worked on mods since GTA IV. Just to clarify, it is the same issue as Shadesman89 above posted about, where some elements appear to be missing and some appear to just be incredibly dark in colour. After loading it up in an editor it looks perfectly fine, its just in game where it looks like this.
  8. As I used it more I have now started to notice the Police SUV's lack of interior more. I tried fixing this issue myself but was unfortunately unsuccessful. As I've started using first person more I find myself using this vehicle less, which is a shame because the rest of its pretty nice, just the solid black interiors let it down.
  9. Am loving using these vehicles in LSPD:FR, only problem I've noticed is that since I run on low graphics settings the AMBULANCE2 has a very noticeable increase in texture quality over the AMBULANCE. Maybe something to consider adding in the future, making a High Quality version of the default ambulances to bring them up to the same quality as your new one.
  10. Nice, but is there a way to disable the AutoDoorShut? I didn't notice how often I tend to not close my door when jumping and and high speed reversing but its slightly jarring for the door to just ping shut when momentum usually does the job just fine.
  11. But they do that even if you don't have a gun out.
  12. Them pulling out guns isn't really a problem since that happened in GTA IV as well. The issue I have is that civilian NPC's trying to escape always seem to drive directly at ME. Also often during a pursuit traffic also has a tendency to either stop directly in front of me or try to ram me off the road, fellow police officers seem to be the worst offenders.
  13. Aside from the few issues I've been having with GTA Online (Haven't touched singleplayer apart from the first 2 missions) its been flawless.
  14. Also all the negatives to Digital apart from the ability to sell on are inaccurate. - Massive exaggeration on time taken, plus steam lets you open/close it and turn off you're PC whilst its doing it and not have it screw up. - You don't get "hey it needs patches" on digital downloads because it does them straight away. You DO get it with discs because the patches aren't ON the disc. - You get exited waiting for it to download, just like you get exited waiting for it to come though the door. - Can get refunds.
  15. Doesn't it unlock on 14th April 00:00 BST regardless of where you live? In otherwords, around 1 day 1 hour from when I posted this comment.
  16. Let me guess, are some idiots claiming it was shot down / blown up by any chance?
  17. Well at least it worked for someone I guess ...
  18. The examples you gave are terrible. I very much doubt Rockstar modernizing how lights work on the police vehicles in GTA V is them "Copying ELS", and I'm fairly certain them re-using their own vehicle assets isn't them "copying other peoples vehicle mods".
  19. Its not the fact they took songs out, its the fact they were willing to remove content from something they'd already sold us. What if next time they decide to remove a bit more than just a few songs and some of the graphical settings?
  20. After what Steam did to the Digital version of GTA SA I'd say hard copy.
  21. I knew you could do it, didn't know how though ... done it by accident a few times, somehow ...
  22. Is there any way the normal and noose backup vehicles could be setup the same way as the prison transport vehicles are in the config files? Or is it a case of it being something that's hard coded into GTA IV?
  23. As someone who plays Train Sim a fair amount, I will say now the vast majority of the Steam DLC for it are only published and not made by them. But yeah, DTG (or RSC depending how you found out about them) aren't exactly known for releasing good value for money content.
  24. I mod quite a few steam games and haven't had any issues at all.
  25. Pursuits were only really different because the detection system was different (also they can sometimes see though walls when it suits them which really annoys me), never seen them use tear gas, LCPD did roadblocks they were just really limited, LCPD have cars parked up on the side of the road although again they were really limited and I've not seen anything different from the shootout tactics (They still tend to just get to cover and shoot in your general direction).
