  1. Did you ever find out what it was?
  2. Can we stop with the spammy posts please?
  3. Topic moved to Grand Theft Auto V/Vehicle Modification Showroom, as this is not an LSPDFR suggestion or discussion pertaining to it. This topic has been moved to the appropriate forum. Please post in the correct location in the future.
  4. I'm all for a constructive debate, so here's my two cents. I don't think that's the case, let's look at other Online cash cows, like Call of Duty. Each COD game has 4 DLC packs (Black Ops was special, in that it received 5 DLC packs, the last one being a zombie DLC pack as a "thank you" to the fans). Once three quarters of a year pass, and all 4 DLC's are released, the game is left to die and a new COD is announced. Rinse and repeat. Now you may say "But Call of Duty shouldn't be compared to GTA". So, let's take a look at R*'s pattern. GTA IV released in 2008, two DLC packs were released in 2009. The game was then left to die. Red Dead Redemption was announced, and they also released a fair amount of paid Online DLC's for it, and then one final single player DLC. The game was then left to die once Max Payne 3 was announced, and then the same exact thing occurred to MP3. Basically, once a new R* game is announced, they always focus on marketing their next upcoming game. R* doesn't want GTA Online to take away from the attention of Red Dead Redemption 2, or Red Dead Online, for that matter. Therefore, come next year when RDR2 is released (as well as its cash cow Online component), I am willing to bet a fair sum of money that R* will stop supporting GTA Online with regular content updates. Now, let's say you're right. They don't stop, and they continue to release DLC. There's a few things that can happen: The GTA Online player base will continue to decrease as new popular blockbuster games continue to release, taking away attention from GTA Online progressively. Players will eventually grow tired of the same GTA V map. There's only so many different types of missions and vehicles you can cram into the same space before things get boring. In regards to the above, R* originally promised new gameplay locations and new map extensions/additions (they have not fulfilled that promise). Basic console limitations - it's already happened to the last-gen consoles. They stopped releasing DLC for them, due to actual limitations of space and processing power. The PS4 and Xbox One may be reaching those limitations as well, unless they start compromising other aspects of the game in order to maintain optimal performance and integrity. The game is already at a massive 67 GB, which is almost unheard of, considering that the game's map and the amount of content is still less than The Witcher 3, which totals at 49 GB. Unless they start compressing the files, how much larger are they going to let it get until it becomes inconvenient for the average player to store it on their HD? Red Dead Online is going to be R*'s new Online cash cow, the game itself is developed by R* studios (Rockstar North, Rockstar San Diego, Rockstar Vancouver, etc.). All of their development resources and employees are likely to be working on that, unless they split the team and have some developers work on GTA Online.
  5. I think the game is nearing the end of its life cycle, I wouldn't expect any more GTA Online DLC after Red Dead Redemption 2 is released.
  6. Issue resolved, locking to prevent hijacks and bumps. @Arariel PM me if you need this thread unlocked for any reason.
  7. You can't have any mods installed when playing GTA Online, including LSPDFR. If R*'s anti-cheat system detects any files that aren't supposed to be in your game directory, they will likely ban you. Either way, this is off-topic.
  8. I've reminded you on several occasions to stop making duplicate threads. Please stick to the one you already made: http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/69014-lights-dont-work/ Consider this your final reminder.
  9. If you feel that this topic has been pinned in error, please report this post.
  10. Content Editor (which @Harper currently is). You'd be given a red name (or as Sam calls it, authorative pink), given a few extra permissions that allow you post post official articles on the front page, and be able to feature downloads.
  11. "You'd help with promoting the very best that our community has to offer by posting articles, helping with our frontpage stories and featuring top quality content."
  12. The police cruiser with the windshield wipers is creative, it'd be nice to see more vehicles support that. Although, you'd think R* would've included windshield wipers in the first place (since Mafia II & III have them).
  13. That's correct, but only on the older slicktops. The newer ones have both red and blue in the front.
  14. Topic moved to LSPDFR/Discussion & Suggestions, as this is not LSPDFR support related. This topic has been moved to the appropriate forum. Please post in the correct location in the future. To answer your question, nothing official has been announced yet. But as always, the developers do their best with the little free time they have.

  21. Check visualsettings.dat, if there's still one in GTA V. I remember GTA IV had some settings in there relating to light coronas, color, intensity, etc.
  22. MODERATOR NOTICE: File moved to Grand Theft Auto V/Vehicle Textures, as this is not a vehicle model.
