  1. lol it was I spent the whole day trying to figure it out and after google searching and looking around I gave it a try and it worked. It sounds really risky but, I haven't had a problem.

  3. Only reason I said that was because that is exactly what I did I tried using the ones that LCPDFR uses which is 2010 and 2012 and I got an error message saying SecuLauncher something along those lines that wouldn't allow me to start GTA at all. I tried using LCPDFR without 2010 and 2012 and I obviously couldn't go on duty and with the 2005 alone ELS v8 couldn't work properly. So in a last ditch effort I installed 2005 and also installed 2010 and 2012 and its allowing me to play GTA IV and LCPDFR and I haven't had any issues so far.
  4. I know but that would be the one I have more experience with which is why I asked,,,and true but, I had this similar issue a day or so ago and I installed all the redistributables which was 2005, 2010, and 2012 and that solved my problem.

  11. Its classic cars for me so a 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass when I am not an officer.
  12. You may lol Family Matter's immediately came to mind when I joined this site.
  13. To add on to this there is also programs to accommodate LCPDFR's add on's such as ELS V8 and, LCPDFR has great support for people who do use controllers.
  14. No problem and well 2 years ago I paid 1600 for the whole setup but, with the most recent upgrade which is the 770 its probably getting up there. You don't need 32 GB of RAM I went a little overboard on that one and you probably could get a better case for cheaper and, if you wanted a i5 you probably could bring the price down as well.
  15. I had someone build mines and at the time I knew nothing about LCPDFR or anything about computers, but I knew I had money to spend and I could potentially build a computer for the future of gaming and that is exactly what happened. Besides upgrading my Windows 7 to 64 Bit yesterday, and buying a brand new video card which is a 770 just recently my computer built 2 Years ago is still really good in the present day. My point of saying this is don't just build for one game build for the future and all games you might want to play today or in the future. Specs : Case : Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case With Upgraded USB 3.0 Power Supply : 700 Watt CoolMax Power Supply Processor : Intel Core i7 2600k CPU @3.40 GHZ 2nd Generation Memory/RAAM : DDR3 4X8 G.B Video Card : MSI Nvidia Geoforce GTX 770 Twin Frozr 2GB GDDR5 OC Hard Drive : 2 Terabyte Motherboard : ASUS P8Z77-V PRO Just to give you an idea but I'm sure you could build one much better than mines.
  16. That officer looks awesome I would play GTA V just to play with officers
  17. So today I upgraded to Windows 7 64-Bit....I now have another issue where I cannot go on duty...the C++'s from 2010 and 2012 don't work for me and will not let me start up GTA at all...I tried using a 2005 Redistributable and it works but I can't go on duty...any ideas? im stumped...and this is happening on a fresh install of LCPDFR as well. EDIT : After a last ditch experiment I actually fixed it...just have to combine all 3 which is the 2005, 2010, and 2012 Redistributable's hopefully this helps someone else.
