First one isn't a tank, it's an APC... probably cost them a lot less than buying a Lenco Bearcat for their SWAT truck (retired from military service and given to the police cause who the hell else should own one?). Not saying I agree with it - I actually think the Bearcat is a lot more efficient :P But it's not a tank. The second is most certainly a tank... I would hope that that's specifically for use in parades/airshows/attracting attention from kids type of deal..... but... a quick Google search determined that to be a lie... It would appear the US Military took back that tank and removed them from the list of agencies that can get 'demilled' equipment cause the SO lost nine weapons. Don't know what to even say about that.

Jesus effin Christ. I replaced my x64e with the original one (even though I technically didn't alter it), and the game started working again, no corrupt data issue. Still crashed with OpenIV, and I just realized it's because I never copied the new update.rpf over to the mods folder to overwrite the old one. Wow. I'm stupid.

Anyone have anything new to bring to light? Still no luck for me....

Got another update for you. I just replaced the "fbi" car in the original files and removed everything but RPH just as an experiment, and I got the same corrupt data message you're talking about. And I just replaced it with the vanilla FBI car, and it's telling me the same thing. Grrrrreat. Rockstar really gave it to us on this one -_-

It's possible, but if it's saying you have corrupt data... that sounds like an entirely different problem altogether. You might have accidentally messed something up (even just a sound file) on your actual/backup files, and not realized it because the file OpenIV overwrites it with in the mod folder is still intact. I'd go do an "integrity check" on your files, and see what it says. If you have Steam, this can be done by right-clicking GTA V - clicking properties - clicking the local files tab - and clicking "verify integrity of game cache." Worst case scenario, you can wait it out a few days and see if we get lucky with some fresh updates/workarounds, or, you can do as Superjele1 suggested and do a fresh install, in which case, you need to remember to delete everything in your GTA V files, not just uninstall it. There was a lot left behind when I did a reinstall the other day. I just dismiss that idea from the standpoint of knowing how much of a pain that is. I just had to do that the other day cause I corrupted a good number of files and their backups (Open IV crashed mid-task) and couldn't narrow down which files the problem was with so that I could just ask someone on here for them. Uninstalling and deleting everything, the 65GB download + install, and then having to try and reinstall everything else that I had BEFORE the issue came about.... it was frustrating and I wouldn't wish it upon any gamer. Lol

Good luck! If that is the problem for you, you should still be able to play LSPD:FR... you just won't be able to use anything in your Mods folder.

^Lol, a 65GB install all over again cause OpeniV, Scripthook or RPH isn't working? I'd be hard pressed to do that again even as the last-ditch option..... I'm going to specifically mention that it's the dinput8.dll file that's crashing my game. Everything works fine with the game and RPH until I add dinput8.dll - and suddenly it crashes loading story mode.

I believe it's the OpenIV ASI loader As soon as I reinstalled that file, it started crashing again. Are you using a Mods folder AndrewL129?
