  1. I think we are jumping the gun a bit here but why not.... I'd like to have different callouts for each area. some examples: -Large scale shootouts, drug related incidents, drivebys and assaults in lower LS (grove street and such) -Stalkers and paparazzi and such in Vinewood and Rockford hills -Minor search and rescue operations and hunting related callouts around Paleto bay and the Chiliad Mountain Wilderness. -Random firearm discharge, drug deals, domestic violence, random drunk people and reckless driving around Sandy Shores And of course some normal generic stuff thrown in to mix it up a bit. These would be cool.
  2. I agree to some extent. Since installing 1.0c there is a hell of a lot more "an unhandled exception occurred, it is highly recommended that you restart the game" errors. These were a rare occurrence in 1.0b. I found that the prisoner transport crashes if you change or add a vehicle in the ini file. I have mine set so that only "police" and "police2" act as transport and I have few issues in that area. I can usually get upwards of 30min of gameplay from LCPDFR 1.0c. Try uninstalling some mods. I find that my game crashes after a few minutes if I have too many models installed. I do love the coffee feature though. I did miss it....
  3. Nice. All sirens have a nice smooth volume and most of them are flawless. The only little thing I don't like is that the wail has that city echo but the rest of them don't. It would be nice if they all matched up (eg. all have the echo). I like it though and it's better than the other Aussie sounding sirens I have.
  4. awesome car! what model is that though? is it the BxBugs123 model or the larger D:SF model?
  5. For high quality and very accurate Australian police textures please follow the instructions below... All packs mentions here are made by me (southaussiemate) and should not be uploaded or edited for public use without my permission. Plenty of images on the download pages and in the files. Not to brag or anything but i haven't recieved a bad remark on my work yet, and I've been doing Aussie textures for at least 2 years. I did have a full and detailed post written out TWICE!! manually typed links and all....but the website f**ked me over TWICE and I lost it all and now I couldn't be arsed doing it a third time! If someone would be so kind as to tell me why I can't copy and paste links here or ,if it's possible, how I can do it I would be very grateful. if I can paste links without manually typing them allI will be more than happy to update this post. Sorry for the inconvenience in the mean time. For the following packs you need to visit www.gta-mod-center.com and look in GTA IV Vehicle mods in the downloads section. Victoria highway patrol SS commodore set Victoria highway patrol FG XR6T Falcon set Updated South Australia police set. uniforms included Western Australian highway patrol set - 3 textures for the FG Falcon, 2 HWP textures for the SS Comodore and 3 general duties textures for any Omega Commodore. All textures are different and replicate the real units, right down to the number. For the following packs you need follow these directions: www.gtapolicemods.com -> GTA IV showroom -> Australian emergency mods -> 1st reply to that post. (be sure to open "Aus. emergency MODS" not textures) there you will find links to... Queensland Police set. uniforms and vehicles Western Australia police set. uniforms and vehicles Northern territory police set. uniforms and vehicles Victoria police set. Download this for uniforms and general duties vehicle skins. although this pack includes some highway patrol textures I suggest you also download the above highway patrol packs for more up to date textures. Coming soon -A small texture pack for 3 different Adelaide taxi services (Snit's Omega v3 taxi model) -A small Australian Capital Territory police skins. I have at least 3 planned Again, sorry for not having direct links but its pretty annoying when I'm forced to manually type EIGHT of them.
  6. Sounds like the peds are spawning with drive by weapons enabled. When selecting the bodyguard/ped scroll down the list until you reach "enable/disable driveby weapon" (or something like that) and change it to "disabled". that should fix it.
  7. Awesome job but I have a suggestion for you. I highly recommend that you include some screenshots or at least a read me with a title
  8. This is epic! I love the new idea of using the
  9. This car looks epic but it crashes my game. All I did was install it and the game crashes after the loading screen. Good work though!
  10. I have the same issue but my computer crashed to the blue screen of death a few times about a month back. It seems fine now but since then I've had this problem. I assumed that was the cause.
  11. There is plenty of them on gtapolicemods.com, as previously stated. There is also supposed to be a lot more Holden Commodore and Ford Falcon models released soon at a new website called gta-mod-centre.com. If you look in the showroom on GPM and look for a thread called "Australian emergency mods" you will find several links to various Australian models and textures. I've also created high quality texture packs for SA, NT, VIC, QLD and WA featuring uniforms and vehicles (Tasmania will be added to this list in the coming weeks). Links to these packs can be found if you scroll down a little. Enjoy.
