  1. gunsmith cats is great if you're looking for realistic cops in an anime, easily the best rendition of the chicago police sadly, the animoo only has 3 episodes, so you have to bust out your reading glasses for the four volumes of manga aha ~~~~
  2. depending on how much money you have/what you plan on running, it wouldn't hurt trying to get a GTX 970, best bang for your buck atm not to mention, if you REALLY want to insure that you won't have any problems with games, you might want to look into an i5-4960K + z97 mobo i know that's a little bit much and i realize it's a little bit overkill, but in the world of PC gaming it's always better to have a little bit more the advantages of having an unlocked processor are obvious, if you ever run into a problem where you need a little bit more CPU speed, you can get it. hell, i had a buddy in who managed to get his i5 pushing 5.2ghz if all of this seems to be a bit too much money, your current build will serve you well if you intend on maxing out the last generation of games. however, if you intend on using this rig for the foreseeable future, the beefer parts will serve you well
  3. can we please make a thread that says, "SMPA60 is caused by car mods" it's honestly amazing that people haven't figured that one out yet
  4. you're going to want a desktop there's no need to buy an i7, games make no use of hyperthreading yet. not to mention they are still pricey, pick up an i5 XXXXk, something that you can overclock if need be wouldn't hurt to look into a >GTX 660, that way you'll be able to run the "next-gen" of games coming out perhaps something like a GTX 970? great bang for your buck, easily the best performance/cost value on the market http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1820346 this contains just about everything you would ever need - your graphics card and a copy of windows install your OS on the SSD and put the rest of your junk on the HDD
  5. is it just me, or is this like, the fifth thread you've made regarding outlets if i didn't know any better, i'd think you had an outlet fetish
  6. someone told you to clean your filthy pc out and you did /thread
  7. please do a lets play so we can laugh at you not being able to play
  8. the first things i plan on doing are 1. figuring out how to remotely crash games 2. SMPA60 3. edit the weapons.xml so i can shoot rockets from my uzi 4. edit V's rendition of carcol so all the cop cars are pink because that is xDDD
  9. doubt this will officially be added into the game (which is a shame, it's a great mix) kavinsky fucked that up back in 2012 when he broke NDA and said he was going to be in the game iirc
  10. this makes absolutely no sense whatsoever crysis 3 requires a dual core and 2gb of RAM to run on the most basic of settings i seriously doubt V will even boot with a PC along those lines if you want to insure that you can run the game, i'd recommend a config along these lines OS: Windows Vista SP2 x64, Windows 7 x64, Windows 8 x64 (Would assume that V will be 64-Bit only) Processor: Core i5-4460 (3.20GHz) or better *Quad-Core or better (this is sort of give or take, any modern quad core above 3.0ghz should do you fine) Memory: 4 GB RAM Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 (2GB) or better (DirectX 11 graphics card required) DirectX: Version 11 Hard Drive: 4 GB available space Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card
  11. pretty much sums up the entire thread in one sentence
  12. this is the funniest thread i have ever seen in my life thank you for putting a massive target on LCPDFR, i'm sure the mods/system admins really appreciate that let's go through and take a look at the points you've made 1. violation of civil liberties (this sounds like something from a clockwork orange 2. this has nothing to do with hacking, it's ddosing. not to mention, twitter is a company, not a le agency, profits before people 3. what 4. VPN 5. the US spends millions on social engineers each year, however they are too busy reading these messages and decrypting tor browsers to give a shit
  13. good thing steam and origin are up why do kids always have to ruin the fun with their ddosing (please don't ban me for using that word) this is just low, ruining the holidays for all the little goons
  14. "Officers Shoot Man With Gun As Ferguson Protests Turn Violent, Again" Way to sensationalize the situation, exactly what's wrong with news sources and America as a whole. First of all, the officer was responding to a shoplifting call; the actions of the suspect are in no way tied to any sort of protest. (Much like the shitbag who killed those two NYPD officers, he was a psycho, an EDP) "Officers Shoot Man With Gun As Ferguson Protests Turn Violent" implies that a violent protester was shot and killed by police. This only continues to divide two massive groups of people (those who are in favor of greater police accountability and those who aren't), which won't be solving anything.
  15. The PSU is the system that will allocate power to your motherboard and GPU (and all the other bits). With an i7, a powerful GTX 970, and all that, you're going to want to look into something a bit more powerful. Perhaps an 800w. As far as the SSD goes, it's always better to have a little bit more space for the "essential" games. However, if you just want to use it for the OS that's fine. When it comes to CPUs, their use in games really hasn't changed over the years. And many developers grossly over-state the system requirements for games. For example, MGSV:GZ required an i5 3.4ghz (or something along those lines), worked fine (60FPS, High settings) on my 6 year old AMD 945 3.0ghz. If you're on a budget, the i5 will serve you just as well.
  16. You're going to want/need a better power supply. Wouldn't hurt to get a larger SSD as well. It'd be worth knocking the CPU down to an i5-4690k, seeing as most games haven't really made use of the i7's hyperthreading yet.
  17. What I've been doing for the past few years is buying my friends the shittiest coop games on Steam. Always worth a laugh or two. Other than that, I hope Santa brings me a shit tier waifu so I can use her as a distraction when my house gets raided by the fascist police.
  18. Why's Pete giving the two fingers up? Those are the first things that'll pierce Jim Reed's rectum. When Pete's around, there are no "hard-asses". Phew, had to get that one out of my system. Anyways, gotta give my vote to The Super Cops, Dave Greenberg and Rob Hantz .
