  1. Drug runner ALPR events seem to be bugged. When the game asks you to hold down/press 9 to mark a thrown contraband item, it marks it like normal. The only problem is that only SOME of the marked items appear when you go back for them. I'm right above the green blip and there's no item anywhere, so I get in my cruiser and go to another blip. Bam, glowing contraband item. I go back to the previous green blip and it's still not there. It's mildly irksome when the game notifies you that you missed (for example) 3 items after the court, since those 3 items phased out of existence entirely. Also, I've a suggestion: being able to send a search crew for contraband. During an epic city-wide chase, drug runners and such throw a lot of crap overboard. It's getting pretty repetitive having to backtrack for 10 minutes to find the 10 or so blips scattered across the country.
  2. I pull over a pedestrian. I arrest him and attempt to search his vehicle. Pressing G near his trunk does nothing. Pressing G near my trunk does nothing. Every other mod works, just not this one. I am running a legal version (Steam) of GTA V and I'm running on the latest versions of LSPFR, RPH, and GTA V. I have not modified the INI in any way and Windows User Privileges is not blocking the mod. My antivirus is not blocking the mod. I have it installed correctly in the plugins (yes, lower case P) folder generated by RPH. I have used RPH to launch my game. None of my mods interfere with LSPDFR or any other possible function. Am I doing something wrong? I can't figure out why this isn't working. EDIT: "- Type 'LoadPlugin VehicleSearch.dll' without the apostrophes." Well, I completely missed that. By the way, is there any way to have the mod automatically load?
  3. Oh, so that's what the "object trying to call something that doesn't exist" that I read somewhere actually meant. Thanks
  4. I don't know if this is related to the trainer or not, but this happened... LCPDFR.log AdvancedHook.log AdvancedHookInit.log asilog.txt ScriptHook.log ScriptHookDotNet.log When I accidentally hit tilde/grave and opened the LCPDFR command prompt, I seen this and took a screenshot of it. Doesn't look that alarming When I seen the "LCPDFR has encountered a critical error" again I opened up the console and took another screenshot. Is it this trainer that is causing problems? As the crash is spontaneous, I'm wondering if the trouble-free session was just lucky. And if this is caused by the trainer, are there any trainers that'll play nice with this mod?
  5. Oh, so would Simple Native Trainer cause problems? I was thinking of getting that to replace the other trainer I had to remove.
  6. I forgot to mention that I had this error before vehicle selector. I'll take out in game trainer and report back if LCPDFR crashes again. Thank you.
  7. My mods are LCPDFR 1.0c, Ingametrainer 1.9.0, and Vehicle Selector. I do not have any other mods, ped models, car models, etc. Those are literally the only thing I've added other than the required loaders. My Alienware M15x's specs are Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, build 7601), Intel® Core i5 CPU M 540 @ 2.53GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.5GHz, 6GB ram, and Nvidia GeForce GTX 260M (I can run GTA IV on high/very high settings without any performance tweaks whatsoever without framerate issues or overheating) This is a completely fresh Steam install, and this is the first time I've installed the game from Steam. Whenever I'm on duty without ANPR enabled, everything seems fine. LCPDFR seems to crash the game either up to an hour after this error or almost immediately. The error text in the top left screen says something like "LCPDFR has encountered an error that has been logged to LCPDFR. We recommend you restart the game" I checked the install with the LCPDFR Diagnostics Tool and everything is apparently all good. I'm only using the Xliveless ASI loader from the LCPDFR automatic installer, but I have tried taking out Xliveless and using Dsound instead and still had random crashes. Logs: LCPDFR.log AdvancedHook.log AdvancedHookInit.log asilog.txt ScriptHook.log ScriptHookDotNet.log This is what my root folder looks like (you might have to click on the image, it looks really small in preview post)
  8. It finished downloading overnight, and it's a good game. How do you make Steam fix up an install by the way?
  9. That's actually really interesting, does this affect any other games or is it just GTA IV? That's a relief, one of the biggest reasons why I'm buying this is because of LCPDFR, so I probably won't even have to deal with GFWL for a minute.
  10. Alright, I'll buy it and see what happens. Thank you.
  11. Have you guys had any problems with it or is it a mostly troublefree install?
  12. I'll try to start a new game, will post back if it works. EDIT: The Gta downloads backup files were actually 1.0.0.4, I have 1.0.0.7. Removing my save's didnt work. I'm going to try and find the right update files, I'll report back if it still crashes
  13. 1.0.0.7 GTA IV retail with no DLC Intel i5 Nvidia GTX 260m 6GB ram Windows 7 64 bit So I have a speedometer mod, LCPDFR 1.0, Simple Trainer, and some realistic car park V3. They all ran fine, except for LCPDFR crashing constantly. I heard it might be caused by high polygon vehicle mods, which I had, and my vehicle img was 222 MB instead of the normal 80 something MB. Of course, before realizing this, I backed up my Commons and Pc/models folder as I thought that "newvehicles" files was where the vehicles stemmed from, so I rampaged through my GTA IV folder and deleted everything with the word new in it. I got a clean vehicle img and commons/data folder from GTA downloads, a link that was found on here, and plopped them in. I launched GTA IV, clicked start, and after the loading slideshow it crashed. I researched my problem, with barely any information being turned up by Google, and found a post on this forum. The guy just reinstalled his GTA IV and he was fine. But I lost my retail disc a long time ago. What do I do?
