"LCPDFR has encountered an error that has been logged" appears several times before the game crashes. Seems to happen when ANPR is enabled?

Featured Replies

My mods are LCPDFR 1.0c, Ingametrainer 1.9.0, and Vehicle Selector. I do not have any other mods, ped models, car models, etc. Those are literally the only thing I've added other than the required loaders.  My Alienware M15x's specs are Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, build 7601), Intel® Core i5 CPU M 540 @ 2.53GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.5GHz, 6GB ram, and Nvidia GeForce GTX 260M (I can run GTA IV on high/very high settings without any performance tweaks whatsoever without framerate issues or overheating) This is a completely fresh Steam install, and this is the first time I've installed the game from Steam.

Whenever I'm on duty without ANPR enabled, everything seems fine. LCPDFR seems to crash the game either up to an hour after this error or almost immediately. The error text in the top left screen says something like "LCPDFR has encountered an error that has been logged to LCPDFR. We recommend you restart the game" I checked the install with the LCPDFR Diagnostics Tool and everything is apparently all good. I'm only using the Xliveless ASI loader from the LCPDFR automatic installer, but I have tried taking out Xliveless and using Dsound instead and still had random crashes.

This is what my root folder looks like (you might have to click on the image, it looks really small in preview post)

Try removing the in game trainer and the vehicle selector and see if that helps

Try removing the in game trainer and the vehicle selector and see if that helps

I forgot to mention that I had this error before vehicle selector. I'll take out in game trainer and report back if LCPDFR crashes again. Thank you.

That's because LCPDFR was designed to work on an un-modified version of the game.

Oh, so would Simple Native Trainer cause problems? I was thinking of getting that to replace the other trainer I had to remove.

Try it and see what happens.

I don't know if this is related to the trainer or not, but this happened...

When I accidentally hit tilde/grave and opened the LCPDFR command prompt, I seen this and took a screenshot of it. Doesn't look that alarming

When I seen the "LCPDFR has encountered a critical error" again I opened up the console and took another screenshot.

Is it this trainer that is causing problems? As the crash is spontaneous, I'm wondering if the trouble-free session was just lucky. And if this is caused by the trainer, are there any trainers that'll play nice with this mod?

You received the error: Invalid call to an object that doesn't exist anymore, to fix this turn on Preload All Models in the LCPDFR.ini

Mine is set to False but yours should be True

Oh, so that's what the "object trying to call something that doesn't exist" that I read somewhere actually meant. Thanks
