Here's yet another video where an officer attempts to use OC spray, which fails. When he finally resorts to his firearm, the suspect fights through a point blank shot and continues fighting for several minutes, disarming the officer and attempts to murder the officer with his own gun. If the gun hadn't jammed, the officer would be dead. This is the dash camera footage of Deputy Kyle Dinkheller. This is what happens when you are faced with a deadly force situation and you hesitate. When your life is on the line, you do not take any chances. The reality is that self defense tactics and training are the way they are for a reason, and the reason is usually that doing it any other way does not work. If it gets to the point that a person fears for their life, they are allowed to respond with deadly force, whether they are a citizen or a police officer. Deadly force with a firearm means shooting someone center mass with continuous fire until the threat has stopped. Doing it any other way simply does not work reliably enough for it to be a standard practice. Hollywood and naivety have also deceived people that don't have adequate training or experience with firearms to believe that a single gun shot to the arm or leg is not only possible, but will instantly render a suspect compliant and lying on the ground. That is false, beyond any reproach. I'm not saying this wasn't self defense. Now if it was like the Trayvon Martin case then I would disagree with it because they got that whole thing on camera and you can see what happened. I haven't seen any video of this incident so I'm not going to agree nor disagree with it

what are all the callout names? if you want a suspect evading police call do i just put " startcallout suspect evading police"?

lol that looks fake unless they shot him with rubbers or something. but dont get me wrong this might have been the case. thats why more departments should use tasers or some sort of nonlethal weapon.

I understand what you are saying but I don't know if the man was armed or unarmed. If he had a weapon then yes shoot to kill. If unarmed then it wouldn't be as much adrenaline. I've been there before with someone unarmed but I didn't shoot at all. It was just a 20 second fight and off to jail he went. But like I said I wasn't there so I don't know how the situation was.

Really I don't know how everything went down but I personally don't think it takes six shots to take the kid down. I'm not saying things shouldn't have happen like it did but I wasn't there to see it and neither were any of us. But I do know for a fact 1 or 2 shots to the arm or leg will stop someone.
