At approximately 9:00a.m. Saturday morning emergency crews responded to a injury accident involving two vehicles in the Del Perro Beach area. Both drivers were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The Area under the Del Perro Pier was shutdown for about an hour while the LSPD performed traffic control. According to the San Andreas Highway Patrol the accident occurd when one of the vehicles coming out of the parking lot area pulled out in front of another. The victims vehicle spun across the roadway and hit a wall on the other side of the street causing minimal damage to the wall and luckily not harming nearby responded to the incident.
