Westcoaster got a reaction from cityboy in Unlimited LSPDFR SyncI've noticed that the LSPDFR Sync program can only handle a maximum of three characters. It would be nice if it supported an unlimited number of characters, or at least more than three.

Westcoaster reacted to SeniorPepper in Got pulled over!Hey guys!
I got pulled over on my way home from work last night. I manage a restaurant and it just so happens the guy that pulled me over was actually a frequent customer. Long story short, I ran a red light for turning left because there was absolutely no cars (other than the officer of course). He pulled me over and had a good chat. He let me off easily and he let me take a couple pictures of his car! I took a video of his lights flashing but we've all seen cop lights.
Edit:
I live in Dothan, Alabama. This is a Dothan Police Officer's vehicle.

Westcoaster got a reaction from Reddington in Police VRWell, we'll determine how good it is when the reviews come.

Westcoaster reacted to Reddington in Police VRHm, when it comes to VR, it can be hit or miss. There are some VR games that are amazing, and some that are just...eck. If done right, it could end up being quite fun.

Westcoaster got a reaction from Riley24 in Election 2016In my opinion, Sanders should be the POTUS, because he would end the outsourcing of American employment to China, by revoking treaties which do just that. He actually cares about civil rights, since he was arrested for a sit-in demonstration when he was a teenager in the 1960s. He promises proper redistribution of wealth, a better public education system, a single-pay system for healthcare, and an end to corporate lobbying.

I might look like a total sheeple for Sanders, but I encourage you to go to this link and thoroughly study his ideas on how to change this country.

Westcoaster reacted to l3ubba in Election 2016You realize the minimum wage hasn't been keeping up with inflation for at least the past 10 years right?
Side note: Do you go to McDonalds and expect good food? It is McDonalds, if you want a good burger then go to a real burger place.

Westcoaster got a reaction from NYPDDetectiveODonnell in Girl commits apparent suicide in jailWhile I admittedly do not know much about what really happened, why did the officer ask the woman to put the cigarette away? Also, the officer slammed the woman's head into the ground according to the video transcript.Even though the facts are not all out there yet, if the reports of brutality in the jail were true, then I can see why she committed suicide.

Westcoaster reacted to l3ubba in California police shootingI was actually talking with someone else about this before. While I don't agree with the shooting I can understand the justification given. The initial call that was received was for a possible armed robbery when it was actually just a theft, so the responding officers assumed that the suspects were armed. When the officers had them at gunpoint and the guy was standing sideways to them the officers couldn't see his right hand. The individual kept moving his hands and at the point he was shot his hand was at his waist and out of view from the other officers.
Like I said, I don't agree with it and I think they were a little to quick to be on the trigger but the law says that is a justifiable shooting. What makes it even worse in my opinion is that the agency tried (via court order) to keep the video from being release to the public. Hiding evidence is not a good way to gain trust in the community and doesn't reflect well on your agency. It is even more unfortunate that the group of men were actually friends of the victim from the theft and were trying to help find the stolen bicycle.

Westcoaster got a reaction from sjain in Ohio officer refuses to shoot murder suspect who was attempting to be a suicide-by-cop victimI agree with that. Crime does not have any color, nor does honor.

Westcoaster reacted to Riley24 in Ohio officer refuses to shoot murder suspect who was attempting to be a suicide-by-cop victimYou don't have to lay a finger on an officer to be charged with that. Its a pretty standard charge. Now-a-days unless you listen to every word an officer says, you can be charged with resisting arrest even if the arrest is false.
But in this case he's clearly resisting arrest.
One day I hope this is standard practice. Americans are obsessed with shooting people. As soon as you're threatened, shoot shoot shoot. A coward shoots an unarmed man. A hero takes the risk of not killing.
-
Westcoaster reacted to Riley24 in Ohio officer refuses to shoot murder suspect who was attempting to be a suicide-by-cop victimIts rare to see a cop that's willing to risk their life for a suspect. Falling on your ass when you're a cop is embarrassing as hell, but he put aside his embarrassment and his anger and treated the situation rationally. A truly good police officer. A cop that CAN shoot but doesn't is 100x the police officer compared to a cop that shoots the first chance he gets.

Westcoaster reacted toDeactivated Memberin Ohio officer refuses to shoot murder suspect who was attempting to be a suicide-by-cop victimIt still angers me on how many people in the comments are still dissing the cop and cops in general. Ignorant people seem to always find a way to get the last word.. smh.

Westcoaster reacted to MikeyBrown in Ohio officer refuses to shoot murder suspect who was attempting to be a suicide-by-cop victimIn my opinion, any police officer should always find a way not to kill the suspect. You can shoot at legs or arms, disarm a suspect, if there is no explicit attempt with a gun. the officer did the right thing, though risky.

Westcoaster reacted to CreeperGreenMC in Ohio officer refuses to shoot murder suspect who was attempting to be a suicide-by-cop victimRespect to the officer, i think most other cops would have shot him as he ran towards them.
The most annoying on this, are these comments which say that the suspect would have been shot if he was black.

Westcoaster got a reaction from SxyDante in Future LSPDFR suggestionsI have not played the beta of LSPDFR yet, but in the future, I would like to see new concepts that have never been done before in LCPDFR.
Suggestions for future major LSPDFR updates:
A list of Most Wanted criminals in which the player has to pick a suspect in that list and go to the last known location, similar to Grand Theft Auto IV's "Vigilante" side quests. An actual K9 unit that is programmed into the game without the use of mods. Callouts and events that are related to Border Patrol, San Andreas is based off of California after all. More emphasis on NOOSE (Large shootouts, hostage situations, raids on contraband, apprehending a suspect with a warrant, etc.) The option to raid certain buildings to arrest suspects or gather evidence. Have gang-related callouts. Undercover missions. Sniper roles for FIB, NOOSE, and IAA. The purpose of the sniper is to observe how dangerous a situation is going to turn out. Expansion of frisking and vehicle searching. (For frisking: Stolen property, drugs, and weapons) (For vehicles: Drugs, weapons, and stolen property,) Callouts related to some type of theft (Burglary, shoplifting, robbery, and pickpocketing) Random events while on patrol ALPR system A feature that checks the speed of vehicles while on patrol Drug-related callouts (Smuggling, drug deals, etc.) More things to do while driving a police boat (Save a drowning citizen, pursue illegal immigrants, catch drug smugglers, pull over other boats, etc.) Protest and riot related events and callouts. Riot control police option Breathalyzer option (Both during a traffic stop and on foot) An option during traffic stops to ask for ID, registration, and proof of insurance. Random acts of police brutality When checking for ID, have "Invalid" and "No license" results as well as "Expired" and "Revoked" Escort missions Prank call results More functions in checkpoints. In short, realistic DUI checkpoints with searches and breathalyzers. -
Westcoaster got a reaction from Jarhead1086 in Patriot Act About to ExpireTomorrow at midnight, the Patriot ACT, signed shortly after 9/11 will expire, which makes most of the powers given to law enforcement and the government defined in the bill null and void. Personally, I think this is a step in the right direction because the Patriot ACT was unconstitutional in the first place.

Westcoaster reacted to l3ubba in Patriot Act About to ExpireThat is just one example of people twisting words to fit their agenda. The U.S. did not create al-Qaeda or ISIS. We funded the Mujahideen in the 80s when they were fighting against the Soviets in Afghanistan. There are lots of people (Osama Bin Laden included) who were part of the Mjuahideen in the 80s and received help from us. This isn't a secret and it isn't the first time we have done something like that. Just because we were "allies" with someone 30-40 years ago doesn't mean they will be our allies forever. We fought against the British from the 1770s-1800s does that mean that we have to be enemies with the British for the rest of our lives?
