  1. There are still 32 minutes left.
  2. It probably WILL have callouts. In the feature preview it says that LCPDFR's features will return.
  3. When LSPDFR is installed, you won't need Police Mod anymore. Maybe they interfere with each other. You should keep the Native Trainer though. It has many useful functions.
  4. Okay then. But it'd be interesting to see what would happen. I'm at least going to try it sometime.
  5. Waaaaiit wait wait wait wait wait.. WAIT! Will cops be patrolling around naturally with LSPDFR? Or do I need Cops: Back on the Beat by Olanov?
  6. Works fine for me. But that's not what this topic is about, there's a website section for support.
  7. I wish it'd be 0 days, 0 hours, 0 minutes and 5 seconds.
  8. It was a joke, I guess.
  9. I still won't give you any money from that bet. :P Is that what the maintenance was for?
  10. I think you can do any of these without Photoshop. Just use Chrome's Inspect Element (?) and delete the countdown thingy. And I think you can also replace the picture URL from the LCPDFR logo with LSPDFR.
  11. You don't think what?
  12. I bet when it's released at 1 am, the site will be unaccessible for an hour or two. If so, I'll just go to bed and then get up early.
  13. 1 am this Saturday for me.
  14. I would like to see how the callout UI looks like. In LCPDFR 0.95RC2 it was more like there was dialogue between NPCs and in LCPDFR 1.0 and newer, this nice box in the top right corner appeared when something was talked about on the radio. I'd really like to see how it looks in LSPDFR. Also, how does the AI handle in combat and pursuits? Would SWAT even drag the injured officers out of the battlefield into cover? And how does LSPDFR influence the pursuits (e.g. will it let the cops follow normally and make an officer do a PIT as soon as there's a suitable location? or will the cops just handle like they would with the different wanted levels?)? I like V's AI so far (except some single situations that appear very often), and now that LSPDFR improves the AI so the cops are acting less lethal than in IV, I can't imagine how great and satisfying patrols would be. Very nice examples are these spots in the 2nd LSPDFR trailer: 0:30 (sheriff grabbing and arresting a running suspect), 0:32 (sheriffs chasing the suspect on foot while aiming with their pistol). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5p6dApsLZko&ab_channel=G17Media Uh.. phuck these questions. I want to play and see it myself. :c
  15. Do you see the differences? ... Why can't we just keep talking about LSPDFR, if we talk at all..? <.<
  16. Could we just stop talking about this coun.. I won't say it, otherwise one of the mods will probably tell me it isn't there. lol I don't want this "joke/game" to be continued for 2 more days, 8 hours, 12 minutes and 16 seconds.. <.<
  17. ^ Of course it's just for the website stability upgrade. That's why the maintenance warning is gone now but the timer isn't.
  18. Maybe it's for the website stability when LSPDFR releases. idk
  19. These 3 days, 3 hours, 19 minutes and 5 seconds will be the most agonizing 3 days, 3 hours, 19 minutes and 5 seconds in my whole life.
  20. Because you can't replace models yet.
  21. It doesn't seem. It is.
  22. I'd rather discuss about LSPDFR, it's features and also share imagined patrols, than reading this countdown stuff that repeats itself. To start off, I'd probably choose Sandy Shores' PD. Pick a sheriff's skin (+ a partner) and the Vapid Sheriff Cruiser. Then I'd drive to the highway and join an officer who's already looking for speeders or so. As soon as someone is speeding (on a highway.. I know it's a bad spot but.. never mind. Let's just stop a random vehicle.) I'll pull him over. Run the plate (if that's already a feature) and walk up to the driver's window with my hand on my holster with GTA SanAndreas' C.R.A.S.H.-music (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qse35NKOTsE&feature=iv&src_vid=G7sPP1V9dEE&annotation_id=annotation_373598&ab_channel=RescoeZ). Ask for ID and, if needed, issue a citation. Let's say he flees. He flees, I run to my car, get in and report it to dispatch. Request LSHP, LSSD and helicopter backup. Code 3/pursuit state, of course. Backup arrives as 3 LSSD cruisers, one helicopter, and a white Unmarked Stanier. We follow the suspect around the highway. Multiple maneuvers fail (very unlikely because the AI is so awesome but.. nvm.). I request a roadblock with spike strips which will be set up about one mile ahead. The suspect's tires pop. Then we attempt another PIT maneuver, which is a success. His engine breaks down, he gets out and gets down on his knees. I arrest him and an officer takes him to the closest Sheriff's/Police Department. Well that's more a story of a pursuit than a patrol. Hope I get to read more from you guys.
  23. He's (obviously) a team member too. IF he says anything, he'll stick with what the rest of the staff said.
  24. Are there still people who don't get that the team is joking? But seriously, is this stuff supposed to continue like that for 3 days? "Look at the countdown" -> "there is no countdown" -> "yes there is, *screenshot* -> "..." etc.
  25. Correct. Time is going slower because of that countdown.
