  4. Understandable. It will definitely run a lot of what you throw at it, just not at maximum settings. If it's all you can get at the moment it will certainly get the job done. Sorry for the late reply, I apparently had my notifications turned off. Oops.
  5. The hardware seems to be a few years old. The X4 860k is from 2014 and the r9 380 from 2015 if I remember correctly. It’s already starting to close in on being outdated, leaving you looking for upgrades before too long. I might recommend looking for something with newer hardware, such as a Ryzen 5 1600 or 1600x CPU and a GTX 1060, if budget and availability allows.

  7. Welcome back! The latest version will be 0.3.1, so if the version matches up you’re all set. I’d recommend looking through this list to see if anything strikes your fancy (it’s a sort of script mods based on all time downloads): http://www.lcpdfr.com/downloads/gta5mods/scripts/?since=all_time&sortby=file_downloads&sortdirection=desc You can tweak the sorting and filters to hit the general area you’d be interested in. I’m not sure how popular multiplayer patrols are, that would be best answered by someone else.

  9. Yes, that will be a significant help with textures.
  10. It's pretty much impossible to provide a precise number of frames per second you may be able to gain with any given hardware change. If going by benchmark comparisons*, it looks like the 1060 has roughly double the performance of the 1050. This would make sense since it has double the CUDA cores (1280 vs 640). The 1500X, versus the 8120, appears to come in at around +60% compute performance (with an aggregate sample of Fire Strike scores showing a +113% physics score improvement). Taken with a grain of salt, I wouldn't be surprised to see about double the FPS. This is all conjecture since I don't have a 1050 and a 1060 to bench against each other in GTA, nor those CPUs. Obviously, bumping up the graphics settings will diminish the gains. * never consider benchmarks to be a definitive and foolproof way of determining system performance increases
  11. Thank you for the incredibly kind words @Sam, I can't possibly respond in a way that would fully express how much they meant. It's been a very fun few years.

  15. It's an outdated OpenFormats version. Mods should not be distributed in OpenFormats. Closing as this has been asked before. If you feel this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.

  20. @Moodym @Albo1125 I am working on a workaround for this since IPS clearly doesn't seem interested in implementing this feature. It won't be perfect, but it will at least send notifications to all file followers when a file is updated. No emails, just a normal notification. Currently the feature is just in testing so it may or may not reach production, but signs are good.
  21. I haven't had a single problem with Windows 10, not sure where you heard that from.
  22. One of the problems we face is that IPS is rather quite terrible at implementing fixes and enhancements. We've submitted a lot of issue tickets to them, and to this day some of the issues haven't been resolved. I absolutely agree that there needs to be a way to quickly and easily notify users about file updates, but unfortunately our options are rather limited. We understand and acknowledge the frustration but we're lacking options. We will absolutely try to find solutions, but it may take a little while.
