Looking too buy my first setup, could anyone tell me if this is a good setup?

Specs:
- AMD Athlon X4 860K 3.7HGz Quad Core CPU
- Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-D3H Micro ATX Motherboard
- MSI Radeon R9 380 2GB Video Card
- Rosewill Stryker M ATX Mid Tower (blue led fans)
- 8GB G.Skill Sniper Series DDR3-1866 RAM
- EVGA 500W 80+ Certified Power Supply
- TP-Link WiFi Adapter

The hardware seems to be a few years old. The X4 860k is from 2014 and the r9 380 from 2015 if I remember correctly. It’s already starting to close in on being outdated, leaving you looking for upgrades before too long.  I might recommend looking for something with newer hardware, such as a Ryzen 5 1600 or 1600x CPU and a GTX 1060, if budget and availability allows.

Understandable.  It will definitely run a lot of what you throw at it, just not at maximum settings.  If it's all you can get at the moment it will certainly get the job done.

Sorry for the late reply, I apparently had my notifications turned off.  Oops.

not for LSPDFR, the mod and the game are quite heavy so you'll have to spike that up drastically to a 1050ti and an i5 or any AMD equivelent... I know it sounds like a stretched budget but if you wanna play LSPDFR ya know...
