  1. It’s not ELS itself. So here the whole thing. ELS will work fine as always, but in order to get reshade and ENB to work I have to put GTAV in compatibility mode, which then allows those to work, but the compatibility mode is what crashes the game on stage 3 lighting. So something with ELS and compatibility mode is the issue but idk what it could be, maybe the advanced hook with the d3dll folder
  2. Not sure how to see the log for ELS, and I’ve heard of you change the dxgsi file to d3d11 it fixes it, but it did not
  3. I’ve been having an issue when I use ELS and reshade, stage 3 will crash my game. I have trying changing d3d11 but I have another file named that for ESB. Just happened when I put in reshade

  6. @Officer Frankie better radiance has always helped with the vanilla game ELS lights. If you use a graphics mod most have a file included for brighter lights, remember that some overwrite others though. Also Reshade seemed to help me. Last resort you can go into your vehicle files and turn the numbers up manually.
  7. For those still having trouble. The plugin still works considering all of your other requirements are up to date. Do not run GTA in compatibility mode. For example, to run reshade currently you have to click compatibility mode and select windows 7 not windows 8. If you don’t know how to do this open your GTAV Main directory, right click GTAV.exe, click properties, select the drop down option that sais compatibility, unlock the checked box. If this option doesn’t show up run GTAV.exe as admin, then you can close out and reopen and the option will be there. If this helps anyone please let me know. This has been useful to others previously.
  8. Not really a review but you should make a patreon. I know you have some awesome vehicles your hiding from us 😉. Anyways I love the vehicles you create.
  9. @OfficerBenzo For all those STILL having trouble with the dll file. All current versions of reshade are incompatible with LSPDFR and GTAV in general, hence why there are asi errors. If you right click on GTAV.exe in your main directory, then properties, and click compatibility, you can change it from windows 8 to windows 7. No, it does nothing to your game and all your mods and plugins will still work. I have done this myself and have 0 issues with NVE because the reshade that is included is now "compatible" again with GTAV. IF this helps anyone please let me know, im been super salty for MONTHS not being able to use NVE and I've finally gotten it to work. The devs for NVE suck. sorrynotsorry.

  13. For me and several others the dxgi.asi file provided within the reshade folder clashed with ELS, and other Asi's. Once removed no errors occurred considering everything else is installed correctly. Razed patreon released a new updated NVE on the 10 OCT correcting said issues. You could start there by re downloading latest NVE.

  15. My advice would be to remove all the stuff you’ve added, see if it works normally, then one by one add things so it’s easy to keep track of, and not bomb rushing and installing 10 things at once before starting the game. Keep it simple, then add slowly. I’ve had to delete and reinstall my game several times, you will learn and get the hang of it. NVE had a bug on initial release of new update with that error occurring, the authors corrected it a couple days ago, not sure when you downloaded the NVE SP package but that COULD be a cause. Sounds to me something happened or is missing that has to do with addon vehicles aka missing prerequisites such as gameconfig etc. I would start by removing the dlc and all the stuff you added to allow you to use the DLC pack.
  16. I feel your pain on a personal level 😂 I’m sorry you’re experiencing this, we’ve all been there in the LSPDFR community. Just keep doing your research for possible causes, mainly things in your main directory. A lot of people over complicate things.
  17. UPDATE 20231009: NVE dxgi asi. is the cause of Scripthook V errors for ELS.asi and Trainer.asi. Problem only seems to occur if LSPDFR is loaded and NOT standalone SP.

  19. Yes its very annoying. I removed the Reshade.ini, NVE.ini, reshade-shaders, and dxgi.asi. I haven't gone one by one and tested, just removed those all at once and haven't had the error occur again. I think your right, it is possible it's the dxgi. I'm unable to use the menu in game but it's not a huge deal to me, since I mainly care about the weather and time and can do that through simple trainer.
