Man arrested for ISIS inspired terror plot of Capitol Hill
They don't. It's illogical to allow the actions of a few affect your judgement of the whole.

Man arrested for ISIS inspired terror plot of Capitol Hill
This guy is out of his fucking mind. He plots to kill innocent people, then announces it on social media? It's clear that he's retarded and has some sort of mental disability to do something that dumb. With that being said, I also find humor in the fact that terrorists think their actions will spread fear into the American people. I can't speak for the rest of the world, but these types of actions unite the American people, and nothing is more scary than a united pissed off America. They are Islamic. Just because someone commits an act of terrorism doesn't mean they aren't part of a religion. Let's look at the American Ku Klux Klan for example. They are Christian extremists. What they do is absolutely horrid and absurd, but they are still Christian. There isn't any way for us to possibly judge whether or not he actually believes in the Islamic faith, so we aren't in a position to judge on that front.

Abq. Officers to be charged with murder.
We don't have a gun problem, we have a gun crime problem. Criminals purchase weapons and commit crime with them. I understand your point, but I just simply disagree with it. As Pavelow said, if the criminals can carry AK's, law enforcement should carry M4's. The United States doesn't have a problem with it's guns. I have yet to be shot at, or witness a shooting, or talk to anybody that has been involved in a shooting. There are millions of law-abiding gun owning Americans, and you can't let the actions of a few criminals change your judgement of owning a gun. You can't compare one country to an entire continent, it just doesn't make sense.

US Supreme Court Rejects Louisiana Gay Marriage Case
There are so many flaws with your post, but to prevent us from going off-topic any further I'll just leave this here: "I would rather live my life as if there is a God, and die to find out there isn't, Than to live my life as if there isn't, and die to find out there is."

US Supreme Court Rejects Louisiana Gay Marriage Case
I think it's very interesting how atheists want those that follow religion to be more lenient, separate church from state, and not "force" their beliefs on other people. Yet it's these same atheists that criticize every aspect of our beliefs and disapprove of anything it proposes. Very hypocritical to me. The Bible is an easy example of proof. Whether or not you accept this proof as true if your own decision. If some sort of divine being came down to Earth and healed the world, then everybody would be a Christian and it would defeat the purpose. It's about belief, faith, and trust. Just because we can't physically touch and see something doesn't mean that it isn't true, or doesn't exist. It's also amazing the number of people that deny the existence of a God, then when their life flashes before their very eyes, they call out to a God. By the way you never answered my question of, "If Jesus Christ came down to Earth performing miracles, would you believe?".

US Supreme Court Rejects Louisiana Gay Marriage Case
You cannot 100% disapprove the existence of a God, maybe because what you can't disapprove is true? Christianity for example, the Bible isn't a lie. The Bible is a conglomerate of first-hand accounts written by followers of Jesus Christ. Whether or not you actually believe what they're saying, is up to you. Let me ask you this. If Jesus Christ were to come down to Earth, perform miracles, and announce the worlds end, would you then believe?

US Threatens To Severe North Korea's Financial Links
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States aims to use new sanctions imposed on North Korea over the cyber attack on Sony Pictures to cut off the country's remaining links to the international financial system, a senior U.S. Treasury official said on Tuesday. Daniel Glaser, assistant secretary for terrorist financing at the U.S. Treasury Department, said past sanctions had already discouraged "hundreds" of overseas banks, including China's major commercial banks, from doing business with North Korea. http://news.yahoo.com/u-takes-aim-north-koreas-remaining-financial-links-212631803--business.html This would kill North Korea's already dying economy.

US Supreme Court Rejects Louisiana Gay Marriage Case
There is no proof that absolutely 100% completely disapproves the existence of a God. There are theories that challenge certain aspects of the existence of a God, but there isn't anything that totally bombs the idea of a God from making sense.

US Supreme Court Rejects Louisiana Gay Marriage Case
The argument between Hystery, Sir_Sergeant, and NYPDDetectiveODonnell has lost it's value. Most of it is turning into personal attacks and low blows. I'll report it to a moderator and let them decide for themselves. This topic is pretty much dead on the subject of debating homosexuality at the moment. Plus, we've already had a debate topic on homosexuality.
-
US Supreme Court Rejects Louisiana Gay Marriage Case
This is where the topic needs to be closed, because people can't have an educated and mature debate without consulting to personal attacks, name-calling, and immature arguments. All points have been made and debated, and nothing has changed; surprise surprise, it's the internet.

Abq. Officers to be charged with murder.
You're judging the entire Police force of an entire nation, based off of the actions that you see of a few on the news. There were no "Peaceful protests" with the Ferguson case. The closest the protests got to "peaceful" were large crowds of people blocking major streets, causing traffic, and preaching hate. You can't compare the United States to Europe, because they aren't similar. The United States isn't a continent it's an entire country, one of the most powerful countries in the world. I never understand why people compare the United States to The UK, or Germany, doesn't make much sense to me. Comparing the United States to Austria is a complete joke. As for the "militarized police", criminals in the United States don't compare to criminals in most of Europe. Most serious criminals in the United States are armed to the teeth. The last thing this country needs is for it's criminals to be better armed than the average officer. Europe doesn't have gun crime like we do in the US. Most Police do have proper training on how to handle difficult situations, that's a completely ignorant statement. You can't always assume that every part of the United States has "alley ways". Almost every "peaceful protest" in the United States has become violent. If it doesn't become violent, it's an inconvenience to those of us trying to live our lives. They block traffic, block major roads, blocks stores, and cause disorder. What happens when a "peaceful protester" becomes violent because a violent protester is arrested? Then what? What happens when the violent protesters stir the crowd to become hostile, then what? How things are in Austria aren't how things are in the United States. Crime in the US and UK aren't even remotely close to similar. They are two completely different countries, and follow completely different procedures, and have completely different crime levels.

The Police are the American people. I doubt they'd trample the rights of the people, because they'd be trampling their own rights in the process.

Today I learned that because I'm Black, I'm supposed to eat fried chicken, talk ghetto, live in the hood, get beat by the Police, and commit crime.

US Supreme Court Rejects Louisiana Gay Marriage Case
I had a dream like that once, but I won't go into detail otherwise I'll probably get suspended lol. Yeah I have yet to meet anyone who believes that being homosexual was normal. My area, hell my entire state is majority Conservative Republican lol.

You have a very interesting view on the matter, one I've never seen before. What exactly do you mean by this?

US Supreme Court Rejects Louisiana Gay Marriage Case
As we continue to debate, my motivation for remaining continues to die out. I am going to withdraw from this debate, not because I can't come up with an argument, but because we aren't going to solve anything by continuing. As I've already stated, you aren't going to change my opinion. Hopefully things go well for homosexuals in the future of this country. Make of that what you please, it's the internet and I don't give a flying fuck either way. Good day. :)

US Supreme Court Rejects Louisiana Gay Marriage Case
It can't be on me for not discussing them if I didn't want to discuss them in the first place, LOL! This is where everything loops around in a big circle of nonsense, which is to be expected on the internet. I already have in small segments across this discussion, which I didn't want to have to begin with, but I was drawn into: Though I disagree with homosexuality I believe that in the United States, all people are eligible to equal rights under the United States Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. With that being said, I disagree with homosexuality in any way, shape, or form; But I believe that you should have the right to marry who you please, regardless of gender, race, etc. In my opinion, homosexuality is not natural. If we didn't have the advanced technologies we have now, how would same-sex couples reproduce? Something called mechanical isolation is the answer. Some things just simply aren't physically possible, and when something isn't naturally possible, it can't be naturally correct. If we weren't supposed to reproduce, regardless of religious beliefs, men wouldn't have a penis and women wouldn't have a vagina. If we break it down further, men wouldn't have sperm cells. Then what fun would sexual intercourse be lol . I disagree. This would be considered a raw version of "Follow the leader". Just because other species act a certain way, doesn't mean that we should as well. That's like my dog jumping into a pile of doodoo and chewing on it like bubble gum. That doesn't mean that it would be okay if I did it as well, it would be absurd and disgusting. The moral of the story here is that I disagree with homosexuality because I don't believe it's natural, I don't believe it's right, it's against my religious beliefs, it's against traditional American values and morals (Man and Woman = Child), and I just simply don't have a good feeling about it. As I've already stated again, several times now, I do believe that homosexuality should not prevent marriage. In other words, I believe that gays should have the right to marry.

US Supreme Court Rejects Louisiana Gay Marriage Case
This is what I find very interesting about this forum since I've been here. Almost every debate I've been drawn into, this has occurred. I state my opinion, the opposing party states their opinion. I address their opinion, and they reject my opinion and throw out more arguments. I address their opinion, they reject my opinion, and throw out more arguments. As I've said several times now which nobody has yet to address as usual, I disagree with homosexuality because of personal morals, values, and beliefs that I hold. No one has yet to ask what those values are, what those beliefs are, why I have such strict morals. It's like I put a coin on the table, and you take it and throw it onto the floor, then you put a coin on the table.

US Supreme Court Rejects Louisiana Gay Marriage Case
You challenged my opinion initially by saying you didn't understand how one could oppose homosexuality. If you hadn't challenged me, we wouldn't be having this discussion. I like to debate homosexuality because I'm interested in hearing what others have to say on the matter. Not because I want to change my own opinion. Ignorance is a lack of knowledge. I don't understand how me not wanting to participate in a debate makes me ignorant. What knowledge am I lacking in by not wanting to participate?
-
US Supreme Court Rejects Louisiana Gay Marriage Case
I will not be convinced to accept homosexuality, regardless of any opposition I face as I've already stated. While I do understand what this article is saying, I just simply disagree with it.

US Supreme Court Rejects Louisiana Gay Marriage Case
I understand, I was just being silly lol. Just keep in mind that I'm not trying to offend you or anyone else. I'm just stating my own opinions and beliefs. I understand your opinions and beliefs, and I respect them. I would expect the same treatment reversed, but this is the internet lol.

US Supreme Court Rejects Louisiana Gay Marriage Case
You are somewhat correct. It is obvious that a purpose of humanity is to reproduce. Notice I said a purpose, not the purpose.
