While I do agree with what you're saying, Japan actually benefits from the United States having troops there. No for nation is as eager to do anything to provoke Japan because there are US troops there. To get into a war with Japan at this point would mean to provoke the United States which isn't really a great idea. I agree. And I think the main reason that people now want to do something about ISIS is because it's beginning to directly affect the Western developed world. Americans, Brits, Japanese, Jordanian, etc are being murdered by ISIS. If we look at Africa and compare, I could say that it's much much worse than the Middle East. Most of what's going on in Africa, with the exception of Islamic Terrorism, has no immediate impact on the west. ISIS is starting to affect the west, and because of that everyone now wants to get involved. Very interesting indeed.

I agree. I wish we'd stop throwing our troops at the defense of other nations that take advantage of them. Sometimes I wish we'd just recall all our troops and see what happens. Again, I think it's interesting that people see more of a chance at restoring peace to the middle east than Africa. We all seem to have abandoned Africa and continue to let genocide occur, France is the only country really doing shit about it.

I wouldn't say the US is the most powerful country in the world as much as I'd say the most influential. The US is one of the more powerful countries, but there is no such thing as 'Most powerful country in the world". There's too much to measure in order for that title to be proclaimed to a single nation.

It's also very clear that most of the North Korean people are not happy with their current lifestyle. The way those people seem to worship their "government" is almost cult-like. Serving in the military I'd guess would have some sort of benefits, such as a free or inexpensive portion of food, reduced cost of housing maybe? Not sure, I've never been to North Korea. Sad the situation there.

Actually a quick Google search shows that China as the largest standing military. North Korea isn't even remotely close to having the largest military in the world. Even if North Korea did have the largest standing military, they don't have the largest population. The United States for example, could easily overpower North Korea. The United States has almost 10x the population of North Korea. They ended the Flashpoint series because the crew and cast wanted to end the series on a "good" note. They didn't want to drag the series on and cause it to become redundant and boring. They ended the series on a positive note, where everyone is pleased with how it ended. Though I completely disagree with this, that's what a few sources said when I Binged it.

I'm the same way, you aren't alone. Whenever I actually do try to get a girlfriend, which most of the time I don't, I just can't pull my shit together and freaking DO IT. I always tell myself, "You got it bro, just walk up, be friendly, and casually talk to her". But when I see her with her friends and I'm standing there staring, I say, "Hell, I can't do this today".

I'm getting ready to join the Army in 2 years. Based on your current knowledge, what are the chances of me being deployed out of the country? I'll be going into basic with a bonus entry rank due to my prior 4 years of Army JROTC in school. LMFAO Some of the questions asked were beyond ridiculous, LOL.

I'm a bit ignorant on anything involving the Air Force. Would that be considered active-duty Air Force? Or is it kind of like an Air Force Reserve? I hear that the Air Force get great pay and living conditions when compared to other branches, though I haven't done any research on it.

Now there is a difference between doubt and regret. Do you doubt your ability to be efficient, or do you regret your decision in joining? Just want to let you know that what you do is a very honored and respected thing, in the United States. Even though I don't have a clue who you are, and vice versa, I encourage you to join. However you should do whatever you want to do, it's no ones decision but yours! :)
