So long as this topic remains on the subject of liberalism and conservatism, it will continue to be chaos. Tension between American Liberals and American Conservstives are like the tension between the US and Russia.

Conservatism honors traditional American morals and values. The right to bear arms, man and woman marriages, honoring Americas military, a strong education system, secured borders, etc. Liberalism implies the expression of new ideas and new ways to go about solving problems. I have no issue with that. I start to have issues when liberals act as if they're the saviors of America for the sole purpose of gaining votes. Conservatives care more about the health of America and upholding traditional American values, like the ones I described above, than gaining votes.

Of course not all people are the same, but liberal ideology is, regardless of who you talk to. There are hypocrites that are conservatives, but the conservative ideology is straight forward. Liberalism is not only contradictory, but it's hypocritical. Liberals claim they know what's best for the country, what's best for the American people, yet they only make decisions that gain them more support and votes. They don't care, they just want to hold office.

I don't like liberals because they disregard the truth and common sense for their own ideals. Further, while pretending to be open-minded, they only listen to and accept others' idea, no matter how absurd, so long as they agree with them in some way. If the ideas don't agree with theirs, they are condemned out of hand. They also think they know better than everyone else what's best for you and me and will do whatever it takes to make sure they "save" us--even lie. They're hypocrites.

Just want to say that I find it interesting how people say they don't believe in government lies and propaganda , yet they use internet sources run by the government and believe in what they see on Internet media, as if it's any better than TV media. Internet media lie just as much as TV media does, and when people believe in the Internet media, it's just like believing in the TV media. People link Wikipedia and such, that means that I can link FOX News, or MSNBC. (Two horribly biased and inaccurate News broadcasters) Also, sources don't necessarily mean that what people say is correct. Sources reinforce what people say, they don't guarantee accuracy. I can say that eating poop gives you the ability to fly, and I could ably find 10 websites that say that. Just because I have 10 sources doesn't mean it's correct. People base their opinions off of sources and assume them as true. This is the problem here in America. You can't be a jarhead with that type of knowledge! :P

I can see that some people here are getting reality confused with Internet propaganda. I will continue to observe as this topic goes farther downhill. It's not even funny, it's just sad.

Where we can agree without sugar-coating is that this post is very dumb. But like the above post said, it's harmless and we do have forum sub-categories for a reason. If this forum is strictly for LCPDFR a and GTA discussion, then the guidelines and forum sub-categories need to be changed and updated.

Out of curiosity how do you know for certain that these terrorist attacks aren't organized by ISIS leaders?

On a more serious note, the only thing I ever worry about is being rejected by a girl I have strong feelings for, which hasn't happened yet because I've been too much of a wuss to ask a girl out.

Well fucking said dude, well fucking said. In addition to what Malediction has stated, you need to look at the positives of the world. You can't look at the horrors of mankind and say that we're screwed. There are good people, good things, prosperous nations.

How would you rate Earth as a whole? Consider technological advancement, war, poverty, prosperity, alliances, science, religion. How would you rate the Earth as a whole as far as livability and stability go?

Just wanted to mention that this debate coming from two separate standpoints by two military veterans is rather an interesting argument. Nice to see two military guys share their different opinions on the same topic.

I think I speak on behalf of most of the community when I say that this thread is much appreciated. I don't intend on derailing the thread into a (seriously) retarded debate. I just simply can't stand when someone says that all Police officers are abusive. It's irritating, angering, and ignorant.
