  1. Are they stopping like behind you or beside you?
  2. Mine are: 1. LCPDFR 2. ELS 3. PoliceHelper (and a bunch of other scripts and vehicle models)
  3. When I was looking for a free video editing program I always came over the name "Lightworks". It's entirely free. It's said that even some Hollywood movies have been cut with Lightworks. I haven't used it so far because I use Sony Vegas but it's worth a try, I guess. Here you go: http://www.lwks.com/
  4. Here you go. This is what I found on the web. There should be more around I guess. http://www.mediafire.com/download/a2dfg8krbu2cho4/handling.dat
  5. I agree. A good skin is an important part of a model and this one still needs a lot of work. But great work anyway!
  6. They belong to Merryweather so they're being occupied by security staff. As far as I can remember they only spawn down at the docks.
  7. The page is offline again. So it definitely was just a rumor, not an announcement.
  8. I agree that the shooting wasn't necessary. But the law enforcement officers did everything right according to the law. I still wonder why the officer didn't force the woman to give him the keys of the car (would have at least avoided the take off). So in my opinion everything was justified except of the shooting.
  9. That's because the ELS script refreshes the textures according to the light's frequency. That's the reason why your car was "repaired" immediately. If you watch closely, you can sometimes see that the car at first is damaged for a split second but then gets "repaired" due to the texture refreshment.
  10. I'd replace this one as well. Only for testing puporses so I suggest you better make backups of your current files. Oh I think that rings a bell. Did you add these cars additionally to the "usual" cars (so not replacing one)? That would make sense then and would be okay, sorry my bad. Otherwise my method MIGHT (not sure!) work.
  11. I remember having the same issue you have now, and I fixed it somehow, but unfotunately I can't really remember how. But doesn't look the handling.dat a little bit weird? Please correct me if I'm wrong, because I'm not that into this kind of thing. Don't you have any handling.dat file as a backup before the game crashed? I'd try to use this one only now for testing purposes no matter what the handling of the cars is going to be like... Just saying...
  12. Have you added anything else such as new scripts or textures (no vehicle textures)/ENB's?
  13. I'd love to mod an unlocked Silverado. So my vote goes to 5.
  14. It's hard to see the car in detail. I guess it would be more helpful to see a screenshot of the car in order to have an opinion on the car's skin. But from far it's looking quite good. (Is GSP even using Impalas by the way?)
  15. Looks quite good, but you should change the license plate. It should be a "CA Exempt" license plate instead of the normal "California" one, because it's a governmental vehicle.
  16. But I don't like them as police cars. We have these patrolling here in Germany (Bavaria) on the streets pretty much all the time. And they look just boring. I can't say why, but for me they do. The only good-looking police BMW's are, for me, the ones in the UK.
  17. Yeah, looks pretty cool! I kinda like the lightbar setting as well. I like this car mod! Even though it's a BMW... Good work!
  18. From the German side of things I can say that these games more or less flopped all the way. The number of sales was mostly under expectance and the graphics were horrible. I guess police simulations or simulations in general are not that european or esp. German thing, but I don't know how it's in the states or in Canada though. I guess we're just not ready for it yet...
  19. You could actually use the native trainer for that as well and you wouldn't have to use policehelper. It made my game run a bit more stable since I removed the policehelper script, but it was a nice script to have though.
  20. My favorite game moment was when I played GTA V the first time. I was so fascinated by the look of the scenery and the high level of detail which R* put into the game. I was also surprised by the character-switching feature kind of thing. At first I thougt it was stupid but when I first used in in a mission it was just stunning. So I have to say GTA V is one of the best games I've ever played. But for me it is the GTA with the worst radio stations ever. (don't know why)
  21. True, this is what I meant as well.
  22. I think it's quite senseless offering money for someone creating you a mod. Even though I'm not into car modelling, I recommend to watch some YouTube tutorials or ask someone else to help, but do NEVER offer paying money in a public forum, because there might be some people who want to scam you. Just a well meant suggestion. But you have to know yourself what you want to do.
  23. I agree. I also used it when I wanted to have the original vehicles.img and I also had no problem using it.
  24. I've stopped using policehelper since LCPDFR 1.0. I see no sense in using it anymore. Because you can have basically the same functions like ID-checking in LCPDFR 1.0 (which was one of the main reasons for using police helper).
