Hello LCPDFR Family :) I have wonderful news. So I went in to a US ARMY recruiting station today and they will indeed issue me a waiver to enlist. I was convicted of a felony back in 2012 of malicious wounding, 1st time offense received probation and a lesser charge of unlawful assault. I am so pleased that the U.S. Army is taking the time to give me a second chance. My hopes are that I serve the country, receive honorable discharge, and get an pardon for my felony(in which was an accident a bb gun misfire) and join the police force. I feel it it will happen its my destiny. #onestepatatime :)

Listen Dude believe in your heart that you can do it and its already done. If you are truly dedicated it shall come true. I am a felon and my dream of being a police officer has been slightly affected. Notice I said "slighty affected" I believe in my heart of hearts I can still be accomplished. So far in my life I have never met an obstacle that I set out to do and haven't accomplished yet. I still believe It will be done, and its important for you do believe this as well. Use their negative opinions to your advantage let it give you the strength to strive for it. Good luck buddy you can do it. :)

like "no offense" that usually means you are about to say something offensive, so if you want to insult me or offend me in the future don't bother putting "no offense" in there. I am not offended though because I can see that you misinterpreted what I posted. Smart man I have said the same think. I used this toward white people who say's "No offense" when they are about to insult black people.

I'm not a police officer so although I do in fact think critically, its not in my job description. say what you please but I will always stand my ground.

FYI I have more experience than just the academy and I'm not a cop at the moment (I'm serving in the military at the moment) but since you don't know me or anything about me you are in no place to judge how much experience I have because I can guarantee I have way more than you think Im curious where in that question did I judge you or your said experience? My question to you was were you a cop. Which mean I asked because I didn't know. And If I didn't know if you were a cop, how could I place such a judgement on you? Listen with that so quick to get offended attitude, you won't make it past the psychological exam. Sir No I am in no moral position to judge,(even though I didn't to start) But as a police officer you are in a position to think critically and use fair minded judgement. You seen to lack that. I totally Agree with you. Very rarely do you find a police officer who has courtesy for civilians. I remember when I was about 15 years old And at a boxing school there were two police officer who had memberships for boxing. While they were there with all the trainers and members they were very awesome to be around, but when you would see them in uniform you hardly knew who they were they were like demons had posses them. It was weird.

That was my fault it was suppose to be a period after awesome. :) He was charged with unlawful assault. Much like me. Only difference is I was charged with unlawful assault using a bb gun. Mine was an accident but I took a plea bargain I was afraid of going to jail. I am fighting now to get mine dropped into a misdemeanor.

Hello everyone So my friend was not able to become an Auxiliary Officer with his felon conviction, But I instructed him to become a bounter Hunter or fugitive Recovery agent. I can't find Philadelphia's state requirements but I believe a felon can become a bounty hunter. Just can't carry a gun if your a felon. He can still make arrest, and use handcuffs and a badge and bullet proof vest. He will ahve a partner who can carry a pistol. So I was wondering did I tell him right or give him wrong advice? I know they are not law enforcement but hey its close enough for him.

Self control ahahahaha don't make me laugh 9/10 of Americans lack self control, and 9/10 of police officers can't keep their fingers off the trigger so please lets not get into self control. A lion is just a lion. Unlike a human, it's not capable of complex thought, and only thinks of staying alive and passing its genes on. If it attacks some one, it's not for that person's money, but because it needs to eat and sees the human as a meal. And "surviving" in a civilized society is not robbing from your fellow man in order to survive. A lion is not capable of complex thinking really? Animals are capable of feelings as human's are, animals are also able to rationale better than humans are able. While waiting they usually come across some animal(deer, bear, lamb) etc... minding its own business, and while doing so a hunter so call takes its life all in the name of survival. Meaning in order to take something one usually has to be willing to offer, in which I don't think a deer would offer that if it could speak our language in fact they run which is a plain sign. So hunters steal lives in the name of survival if its good for them to kill an animal then hey ya know. Survival is survival no matter how one looks at it. It doesn't have boundaries. Is it the same people who think selling cigarettes, alcohol, and lethal weapons.is civilized? Alcohol is a drug sir. A drug is anything that gets the human mind into believing it can't do without it. If a human accepts alcohol America allows he/she to accept the consequences so the same should go for any other drug being sold. Just because america can't tax it doesn't make it wrong. There is a HUGE difference between a felony and a non-criminal traffic violation. Also please don't spew sh*t out on the internet if you don't know what you are talking about, do some research because the officer in Ferguson has not been charged with murder. First off dude never instruct me to anything ok? Secondly If you had of heard the video of that poor kid being executed I don't think even would doubt that officer Wilson should be charged with murder. In fact if I was a police officer alongside him when he killed mike brown I might had of pulled out my glock and shot him right after. . I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone that is inclined to help someone robbing them Nope I strongly disagree. Only an Idiot would send a felon back out on the streets with no possible way to survive. That's like catching a lion in a suburban area after biting someone, cage it and then releasing in a huge city, now that lion can feast. :) Point is if your going to release a criminal ensure that he/she has no excuses to resort back to crime therefore if you and when you arrest him/her again your justified into doing so and they have no excuses. Because I know that If I was turned down by every employment opportunity and I needed to feed my family I may not kill or rob anyone but I will sell whatever I need to sell. to feed myself and my family. No offense, he robs my store he will get a glock 22 to the face.... Wow :) I was just making a point why not help a person like him. This way you can keep your glock 22 in your holster. These young officer have literally turned enforcement into a real life GTA game wow. And im pretty sure that if a felon wants to rob you he'll be prepared your little glock 22 would have you calling for additional units in a matter of seconds felons, thugs, and gangsters have bigger guns and trust me they know how to use them. Really? I've been alive for almost 29 years, that's almost 10,585 "overnights" that I've been through and I have not become a felon yet. But here's the thing, you don't become a felon unless you commit a felony crime. :) Mr Johnclark Keyword: Is "Yet" You may not have done so now but 29 years old is still young, and especially young enough for one to make dumb decision's. I know police officer who are 40 years old getting stopped by other police officers for traffic violations. I also know some who are murderer's and are awaiting trial I.E. officer Ferguson. So please don't count the chickens before they hatch. You still have a very much of a life left. With all due respect Officer John Clark its arrogance like yours that create's felons in the first place. Remember most felon's are very arrogant in a sense that they often feel like they can't be held accountable for certain situations. Be careful Mr Clark :)

Yeah but that's not fair at all. We have all made mistakes in life its important to move past them and better ourselves. America has to stop being the land of discrimination. My dear friend is trying to move past it and forget about that particular life. But if he is being constantly reminded of it. He can't. If no one will hire him or give him a chance, Then he is justified into resorting to whatever he knows in order feed himself and his family. So if he robs your liquors stores, or holds up your bank, remember he tried to knock on the door of success and it slammed in his face.

:) Wow terrible of them. One felony conviction shouldn't hurt his chances he got out and tried to be productive that's what important. If America keeps sending felons out on the streets those same felons will resort back into that life. But hey America doesn't care that's the whole purpose jail is big business right? If there were no felons their wouldn't be any jobs for police officers huh? Wow. Lets not forget anyone can become a felon overnight. I know plenty of police officers breaking the law everyday. Outside of uniform. I am so sick Of America and its propaganda. You do the crime, you do the time is right but you can't hold a person accountable for one crime forever.
