Has it been your dream to become a rural cop for a tiny police department in a tiny town? Probably not.. But regardless, you can role play as one. This pack contains PD skins for the 3 small towns in Blaine County (Grapeseed, Sandy Shores & Paleto Bay). Each town comes with 3 different skins made for two vehicles each.
This is just basically a bunch of skins I've worked on over time but didn't want to make a full pack out of, so it the range of vehicles covered isn't vast. But I made them into this in case anyone wants to use them or for anyone who patrols as small town PD units.

Tom S. reacted to Eddlm for a file, Safer Chases (Smarter Driving for Cops)
No more derbies between cops while in pursuit.

So, I have grow tired of seeing people being afraid of calling police Backup because the NPC Cops drive too aggresively. This the result of my frustration.
This script attempts to make chases safer, for both you as well as the suspect, by slowing down police vehicles on certain circumstances, like when you're recovering from a crash and another cop car passes by, or you're near the suspect.

    RAGEHOOK/LSPDFR VERSION RELEASED.
Special thanks to Guadmaz, who took the time to port the script for me and helped me finetune it.
Delete the original .NET version from your game!

    Features
NPC Cops won't ram the suspects ever again. Despite that statement, you can disable this behavior this mid-pursuit if you change your mind. If you hit the suspect's vehicle yourself, NPC Cops will take it as a sign that the suspect is to be stopped by all means, and will resume HOT COP ACTION behind the suspect like this script never happened. You will be immersively notified of this change on their behavior. NPC Cops will slow down when passing by you, preventing cop-to-player crashes this way. If they're directly behind you, they will brake harder to make sure they don't rear-end you. They ignore you if your vehicle is stopped, however. NPC Cops will allow the player to be the primary unit when he's close to the suspect, leaving some space between them and the suspect's vehicle. They will take primary position again if the player falls too far behind. NPC Cops can now yield to you. Simply honk and all nearby units will slow down. NPC Cops will now try to manage traffic better. They overtake more carefully and brake to avoid running over running pedestrians or crashing into slow-moving vehicles. They even take into account other police vehicles!
    WARNING
I consider this script resource intensive.
If you experience noticeable frame drops, disable some of the features in the .ini file to lighten the load on the CPU.

    Settings
You can change multiple settings inside "SaferChases.ini" to tune the script's behavior to your likings.
Finetune how fast cops can pass by you [speed in KM/H] Allow Primary Unit support [enable/disable] Prevent the NPC cops from ramming the suspects[enable/disable] Allow the NPC cops to try and manage traffic better [enable/disable] Allow the player to force other units to yield to him [enable/disable] Debug notifications [enable/disable]
    Installation
Place "SaferChasesRPH.dll" and "SaferChases.ini" inside the \Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\LSPDFR\ folder.
    How to use
The script should start working automatically. You don't have to do anything.
The script will load its settings from the .ini again for any new pursuits you join, so feel free to tweak it mid-game.

    Plans for future updates
Experiment on more, better ways to approach the issue this script adresses. Port the script to RageHook if it people like it Done. Let the player toggle the Ram Suspect feature while ingame, mid-pursuit. Done. Let the player make other police vehicles yield, so you don't have to fight for a position in a pursuit. Done.

Troubleshooting If you experience any kind of crash and you think Safer Chases has something to do with it, upload the RagePluginHook.log file you will find inside your main GTAV folder, detailing the situation you and the suspects where when it crashed.   Don't consider this a polished script, but a "cheap" workaround to a frustrating problem until better options are available.
Feedback is what I need to know what to change. Here is the discussion thread, and, if anyone wants the sourceode, you can find it here.

Tom S. reacted to Nutt for a file, Law Enforcement Jurisdiction Script
Introduction Hello everyone, I’m pleased and very excited to introduce the “Law Enforcement Jurisdiction Script” or L.E.J.S. for short. The script was designed and outlined as a team project between Albo1125 and myself. This script was designed in-mind to give the end-user more control over the policing powers within GTA V. By allowing most, if not all, the functionality of governing which departments have jurisdictions over what parts of Los Santos. With this script you’ll have the power on setting up which areas of patrols… what particular vehicles are in use… what particular Law Enforcement Officers are in use... are they stationed or patrolling… what time of (day or night)… and much-much more.
    Special Thanks
Thanks EVI for being the original beta tester and bouncing future ideas off us.
Thanks c13, BroCop and Dilapidated on assisting in the second wave of beta testing.
Thank you AlexGuirre for the Zones enum-related stuff and Dilapidated once again for the HELI_MISSION native use.
Police Jurisdiction Police jurisdiction refers to the legal authority for police to enforce laws and the specific geographical area in which this authority exists. Police officers generally have jurisdiction to enforce the laws of a local geographic area or the entire state in which they serve. By contrast, federal officers, such as FBI agents, carry out the enforcement of federal laws throughout the entire country.
Jurisdictions and Policing Possibilities Border and Customs Enforcement. Wildlife and Game Enforcement. City, State and Federal Buildings Patrols. County Roads, Freeways, Highways and Byways Patrols. Road Construction Assistance and Enforcement. Railroads and Train Yards Patrols. Subways and Trolleys Patrols. Airport Policing and Security Enforcement. Marina, Beach and Shipyard Patrols. Coast Guard Patrols. Public and Private Property Security Patrol. Or any other area of Law Enforcement and Security that you can think of.   Summary L.E.J.S. allows the end-user to customize their needs within the .INI file (example below), by giving the end-user certain key variables on achieving their goals. The script will be an ongoing project (add-ons, updates, tweaking, etc…) that will give the end-user even more control over time.
CREDITS & LICENCE Law Enforcement Jurisdiction Script is coded by Albo1125 (aka The Great OZ). Cee Montana (aka Nutt) is the owner of the Law Enforcement Jurisdiction Script. You cannot upload or redistribute the Law Enforcement Jurisdiction Script without the explicit written permission of Cee Montana (Nutt).
Q&A Time Q. Is there a tutorial on getting started?
    A. Yes. Please see the awesome tutorial video by Albo in the video section. Also, the first time you execute the LEJS Editor - it will automatically link you with the tutorial video. Don’t worry, it’s only a onetime measure on cutting down on some of the learning curve questions. Lastly, the Editor may require the “run anyway” elevated permissions for the first time depending on your OS.
    Q. How many Jurisdictions Patrol Profiles can I create within the .INI file?
    A. Creating jurisdiction profiles are limitless. That being said, I would personally suggest on keeping each jurisdiction area or zone, vehicle count under twenty-five (25). Especially if you’re using non-vanilla vehicles and a large activation boundary. In other words: You can have hundreds and hundreds of patrol spots… just keep each jurisdiction or area under twenty-five (25) vehicles if possible.
    Q. Can the user create jurisdictions and patrol points all across Los Santos?
    A. Yes.
    Q. Can the user create sea and air support jurisdictions points?
    A. Yes. If you’re creating custom air-support and/or sea-support jurisdictions… you can gather coordinates by using a simple trainer or enhanced trainer “airbrake” feature during gameplay, then saving the coordinates data via RHA console command “SaveLEJSLocationInfo MyLocationName”.
    Q. How accurate are the Jurisdictions and patrolling setups?
    A. The script is very accurate to what the .INI file is setup to do (by you). The x, y, z coordinates, heading coordinates and the area of patrol size, are very important key components on giving the user as much control and accuracy on creating believable jurisdictions patrols.
    Q. What is the difference between selecting a “Custom” and “Zone” jurisdiction setup?
    A. Custom setups gives the user more options (control) for specific needs and accuracy… while Zone setups gives the user immediate selections (over 90 zones) on getting patrols setup quickly - without the needed coordinates data.
    Q. Can I create “Custom” and “Zone” setups within the same jurisdiction?
    A. Yes.
    Q. Is there a default .INI (prebuilt) contained in the download?
    A. Yes. A few patrol points on getting you started.
    Q. Can I use custom and/or renamed patrol vehicles?
    A. Yes.
    Q. Can I use civilian cars?
    A. Yes. If it has wheels, wings and it floats - you can use it.
    Q. Do the LEJS Officers react to crimes?
    A. Yes and No. Officers will react to Michael’s, Trevor’s and Franklin’s crimes - not surrounding crimes (gangbangers, fights, etc…). We’re working on the latter part… so stay tuned for updates.
    Q. The Officers that are patrolling - do they roam away from their areas of assignments?
    A. No. As long as the user sets the correct “area of patrol size” and/or other boundaries within the .INI file… the patrolling Officers will stay within their jurisdiction scope.
    Q. Will Officers leave their Jurisdictions during a commission of crime?
    A. Yes. But we’re looking into giving the user the option on “not allowing pursuits beyond the set jurisdiction scope”.
    Q. How do I get the axis x, y, z, and heading coordinates for my particular custom patrol needs?
    A. LEJS has a custom console command “SaveLEJSLocationInfo MyLocationName” which allows you to easily save your location information in the required format of LEJS's INI file.
    Q. Will there be a thread on sharing locations and coordinates?
    A. Sure will. I figured some end-users may-not want to go through the hassle of plugging in data. So there will be a thread where users can share their Jurisdiction setups and/or patrolling spots (with photos) – so that others can decide if its fits their needs.
    Q. How stable is the script?
    A. No major problems to report.
    Q. How can I edit the .INI file?
    A. The nice and simplistic .INI Editor of course!
    Q. Key features?
    A. Most of the key features can be viewed from the .INI Editor. However, I believe the master viewing mode (F3 Key by default) is quite impressive. You can verify the areas of patrols that you created (per immediate surrounding area), and modify them later based on your observation. And if you set the blip feature (per car) within the .INI file, you’ll see the vehicles in real-time (especially the vehicles that are set to patrol) doing their job within the area of scope that you set.
    Q. What are the red, green and yellow blips in the master viewing mode (F3)?
    A. If enabled in the .INI file (per vehicle), the master viewing mode lets the user know which vehicles are stationed (red), which ones are patrolling (green) and which ones are zoned spawned (yellow).
    Q. How do I reload the script if it stops working completely?
    A.  Bring up the Rage Plugin Console. First, if necessary, unload the plugin by typing UnloadPlugin “Law Enforcement Jurisdiction Script.dll” and pressing enter. You can then reload it by typing LoadPlugin “Law Enforcement Jurisdiction Script.dll” and pressing enter.
    Q. Can I easily make changes to the INI file while in game?
    A. Absolutely! When you’re in master viewing mode (F3), you can reload the values from the INI file by pressing F5 (default). You will see the changes you made are immediately reflected by the master viewing mode for easy editing and perfecting your jurisdictions.
FYI:  * Guys/Gals please make sure to use the correct coordinates when creating custom zones. Especially if it has a negative (-) in front of it. Example: if the coordinate states -34.789 then it should be -34.789.   Tutorial Video:

    About
This is a mod designed to replace LSPDFR's Police Computer with a less boring one. As with the default one, you can search for people and vehicle plates. Apart from that you can locate said people on the map and get a wanted list from the LSPD HQ to hunt down criminals while you're bored. You also can do misc actions such as quit a callout and request Code 2 local backup. You also can use a gamepad!
I would love to hear your suggestions for new features!

    Usage
Press G or DPAD Left(or whatever you have binded Throw Grenade to) while stationary in a police vehicle. Then navigate with keyboard arrows or the DPAD on the controller, selecting with Enter/Gamepad A and canceling with Backspace/Gamepad B.
While searching, you can use your keyboard or use the onscreen one.

    Customization
You can change anything from the background color to the LSPD logo sprite. Just change RAGEComputer.xml located in the same directory RAGEComputer.dll is.

***Please note that this is only supporting Police Vehicles at the moment.***
***A secondary file+tutorial will be uploaded soon to support all non-police vehicles***
    What is this?
Simple! This is a few .meta files that will add custom cars to the game without having to replace vanilla vehicles

Tutorial on how to add the vehicles

The picture in the thumbnail is his Model ;)

This is intended for use of police cars, instead of replacing the car this will add the car to the game.
I added the new SAHP Buffalo S by Century, but this can be done with ANY police vehicle made in the future.

Tom S. reacted to PieRGud for a file, Dashcam V
Dashcam V is a RageHook plugin that simulates emergency vehicle dashcams used in real life.
Note: An unfortunate downside to the method of centering the camera is that you cannot freely rotate it. In terms of immersion, however, it makes sense because most dashcams do not rotate. In light of this, the dashcam no longer replaces the first person vehicle view, so you can use it whenever you desire.
    Features
    - Grayscale filter: looks like the department's on a tight budget
    - Two layouts: a regular dashcam layout and a remake of Sniper296's IVDashCam layout
    - Remote view: view your vehicle's dashcam while on foot by pressing Ctrl + E or the Left Thumbstick + Left Shoulder
    - Dynamic unit numbers
    - Configurable settings: use the .ini file to adjust the following...
        - Unit number/name
        - Department name/colour/logo
        - Imperial/metric
        - Date format
        - Layout style
        - Remote view controls (both gamepad and keyboard)
        - Grayscale filter
    Installation
    1. Download & install the latest RagePluginHook from http://ragepluginhook.net/Downloads.aspx if you haven't already.
    2. Pick a folder. If you like the vanilla agencies, pick lore-friendly. Otherwise, pick real agencies.
    3. Drag & drop "DashcamV.dll" and "DashcamV.ini" into the Plugins folder of your GTA V directory.
    4. Using OpenIV, place the logos.ytd in update\update.rpf\x64\textures\script_txds.rpf (use your mods folder if you have it).
Find and open the file "startup.rphs". Once you open the file, start a new line and put the following...
    LoadPlugin "DashcamV.dll"
This will make the modification automatically load when you start the game. If you do not want the modification to automatically load, launch the game and press F4. Once you see a panel, put in what you see above.
    Known Bugs
    - When entering a vehicle that you left on dashcam view, your view will reset

No content update here; just an announcement. With the z modeler 3 import/export plugin released vehicle modding can truly begin. I am still trying to wrap my head around what is possible and is not possible with the plugin but if vehicle model improvements become available or especially limitless mapping I intend on reworking this mod from scratch with uncompromising CHP style liveries. I have ran my course with the current vehicle mapping limitations and there's not much else I can do to improve these vehicles or make them more accurate to the CHP look. It's my intention to rework this mod completely and release entirely new vehicles with vastly improved liveries. I'll attach a picture of what I have in mind so you can see what the future holds for the SAHP! I am changing my focus to attempt and integrate new liveries entirely and will not be updating the old style models.

I plan on sticking to the "in universe" theme and will release vehicles such as the buffalo and stanier with improved models, mapping and textures. In other words improved vanilla vehicles. I don't see myself releasing a crown victoria mod or anything (I'm sure there will be plenty of those anyways).

In addition, I would like to say thank you once again to AlexVonShep who is working on a second SAHP station conversion mod. This one, which was a suggestion in the comments, will be for the La Mesa LSPD station which we learned is based on a real CHP station. Seems appropriate!

Thanks to everyone for enjoying this mod!  Attached is a sneak peak at what I have in mind for the future vehicles. Keep in mind this is just an edited screenshot and some progress will need to be made in the vehicle mapping department before it is possible. But I am hopeful it will become a reality in the near future.

Hello! Thank you for looking at the current version of my San Andreas Highway Patrol 'immersion' pack. I have worked hard to make sure these vehicles fit in with the other vanilla agencies and used their art style as guidelines so the SAHP does not look out of place when next to them.

Here is what's included in this file:
    - Add-on SAHP Stanier, white Stanier and Buffalo (you do not need to replace another vehicle to get these cars into the game)
    - Replacement textures for the Bike and Maverick (both optional)
    - Sweet ass black and white Maverick texture that matches Stanier
    - ALL NEW (Update 1.0.6.1) SAHP Trooper uniform overhaul - which changes the trooper uniforms to tan in the style of the CHP: Also included in this update is a brand new made from scratch SAHP uniform patch that is high fidelity and looks a lot better than the previous one: which was pulled from the GTAV wikipedia. Not anymore! (I include files for both uniform overhaul and vanilla uniforms with new patch only, if you like the vanilla uniforms and just want the patch)
    - Alternate version of the Stanier file that has the much requested amber head lamps (with easy installation instructions)
    - New version includes a third headlight option that is for amber turn signals only (parking lights remain clear). To me this fits in the best with vanilla cars.

You will need a trainer that has a vehicle spawner that allows you to type in the vehicle name manually. You can also spawn them using the RageHook console by typing "spawn hwaycar", "spawn hwaycar2" or "spawn hwaycar3". I use the enhanced native trainer and have the vehicles saved so they can be easily spawned.

    Installation instructions included in ReadMe.

Please check out AlexVonShep's SAHP Paleto Bay conversion mod. We worked together on this mod and he did an awesome job. You may remember Alex from his GTAIV station mods and he is continuing with this tradition into GTAV. For those of you who are big SAHP fans I highly recommend it.

Tom S. reacted to AlexVonShep for a file, SAHP Office: Paleto Bay Mod
    Description
This mod is made by the request of @DeadFlagBlues and with his help (he gave me wonderful HD SAHP textures).
He wanted me to release this as a standalone "police station mod", but you have to know that it is the part of DeadFlagBlues's SAHP Immersion Pack and you just can't install this mod if you don't have any stuff from there!
Of course, you can. I'm not telling you what to do, I'm recommending an excellent work made by my colleague.
Hundreds of people are aware of the modding theme I've chosen a year ago. Script modding, yes, you're right. Oh, stop! NO, POLICE STATION MODDING!
And I continue making these people happy by presenting the bra
nd...new...SAHP Office in Paleto Bay, Blaine County, SA! *fireworks sound*
Now there is a building that explains us why we may sometimes see that guys on the white motorcycles ordering us to stop our fast-going vehicle.

    Features:
CHP Offices-based building with lots of SAHP stuff:
*Weathered SAHP logos on doors and billboard.
*San Andreas Republic flag instead of LSSD one.
*White cleaned lamps (I mean without any signs, not the dust).
*American flag on the wall (yes, I know how it looks like, but R* see it different).
*Nice marble block with metal signs, which have specular and normal mapping.
*Interior signs (one made in style of CHP font; the other shows SAHP motto) that "look legit" (c) DeadFlagBlues
Note that .ymap editing isn't available so I can't prevent LSSD and LSPD cars spawning on the parking.
    Installation
Warning: this mod is not made for using it in GTA Online!
Warning: no x64*.rpf archives used! The installation can't be complicated!
Use OpenIV to replace the vanilla files
    1. Make sure you have ASI Loader and OpenIV.asi (optional) installed
    2. Go to:
    YOUR_GTAV_FOLDER\mods (optional - see this: http://openiv.com/?p=1132 )\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday2ng\dlc.rpf
Paste there the files you found in the corresponding folder (SAHP Paleto Bay 1.0a.rar\GTA V\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday2ng\dlc.rpf)
    3. Rebuild the dlc.rpf archive (Edit Mode - File - Rebuild OR click F6 - Shift+Ctrl+R)

    5. PROFIT!!!
    6. Close everything and start the game to check if my mod works
    Known bug(s)

Lightweight and simple to use speed radar for LSPDFR.. Uses the same concept as Braveheart's from GTA IV. Whipped it up for personal use with LSPDFR, and thought I might as well share it.
Read the included readme file for details on how to use and install. Thanks for downloading!
NOTICE: If using traffic policer, both radar mods use F5 as the default key. Be sure to change this before playing or you will get an error.

If you are installing LSPDFR 0.4 for the first time, we strongly recommend that you do so on a clean copy of Grand Theft Auto V without any other mods or plugins.

LSPDFR 0.4 brings sweeping changes which have been implemented over a number of years and is the latest major version of LSPDFR, released in December 2018.  LSPDFR turns the world of GTA V upside down, giving you the power to enforce the law as you see fit.
