​Seriously? I had those lags in the very first version. After it has been updated the first time it was ok. So are those lags back?

I'm sure they have something to show us pretty soon. I think so. It is just a guess but I think they won't add any new features in this stage of developement. But only Sam and LMS know that.

We are not here so discuss personal differences. The topic is about LSPDFR I guess. Why don't you use a pm? Most people here are not interessted in your fighting. In the mean time I try not to loose my mind on the song "the final countdown" and those freaking amazing arrest animations :-)

Absolutely right. Though I was quite mad about R*'s decision, I can understand their point of view. Cheating ruins the online experience for everybody. It starts with god mod guys and a 9.000 $ Bounty and ends with everybody getting killed in the lobby because a nerd thinks is funny to insta kill everyone. That is just frustrating. And I think its only a matter of time when those "people" wake up from their "Update broke cheeting - nightmares".

​That is really sad. Won't take long until we see the next monkey with a minigun running across san andreas in godmode to kill everyone in sight. :-(

​As far as I know they use the ragepluginhook by LMS and MulleDK. It is just a guess but I think LMS and MulleDK already updated their hook.

So with the new update by rockstar, I guess file modifications done in the "old" update.rpf need to be reinstalled? Does anybody know whether other files besides the update.rpf are affected?

I thin to prevent it in steam you have to turn off auto-update. But I'm not sure.

To prevent the game from updating! Update breaks scripthook. Pulling out the internet cable sucks so the best solution is to block it via firewall, if you use the none steam version

​ ​yes. block the game with the windows firewall (go to firewall with advanced security, outbound rule, then block GTA5.exe, GTAVLauncher.exe and PlayGTAV.exe) If you lauch the game it says Code 2. Ignore it and press offline mode. Have fun playing!

​I'm not familiar with coding but that "drm code protection is applied to lots of script related functions" really makes me worry. I guess I'll block GTA V with the firewall and leave this update be until the scripthook is updated :-/

This is getting so annoying. Did they messed up the hashes again with that update? Edit: "Got the patch (1.0.372.2) , native hashes are changed , drm code protection is applied to lots of script related functions , including natives itself" ...

​When does it crash? Do you experience any other issues like "texture loss"?

​Could you make a screenshot of your GTA 4 Folder? Did you name the ini files correctly in the slotcontrol.ini? (Inside the ELS-Folder)

​I sounds like you would hold back a mod because you don't want to play it without another mod. That implies a dependency in my opinion.

I'm quite nervous today. This content update by rockstar is coming today and I hope that it doesn't break the scripthooks again :-/. I guess if they change the hashes again it affects the rage hook and so LSPDFR developement aswell?
