  1. I tried a few things yesterday. I thought I'd share it: - A tried a almost every posible shadow setting and a few others like aa too. - The "shadow box" never disappeared. - I use Nvidia PCSS - Shadows now. Shadow quality set to high. Extended shadows at highest level. high res shadows off. This setting makes the "box" less visible for me. Still not quite a fix though.
  2. Yea, I hope so too. Yesterday a good news about lspdfr. Today the sad news about the hashes :-(.
  3. Alexander Blade postet, that R* changed the native hashes....should take a while until its fixed. (see: http://gtaforums.com/topic/788343-vrel-script-hook-v/ )
  4. My shadow option is only grayed out when i set shadow quality to high instead of very high. But using extended shadow distance did'nt solve the problem for me :-(
  5. Thank you for the trailer. First thing that came to my mind was ":-) they spawned the stanier and the buffalo and not the ugly interceptor :-) :-) :-)". I saw on gtaforums that you already have a helicopter responding too...pretty cool. Did you manage to "port" something from GTA IV to GTA V or is it developing from "scratch"?
  6. It was posted a few days ago somewhere on gtaforums.com It only said...coming out soon. Looked at it today an it said may, so I tought I share this information.
  7. Something will be released in may....don't know what, but take a look over here: http://ragepluginhook.net/ComingSoon.aspx
  8. Sorry to say that, but that is not the problem in my opinion. Look at my post, thats what I did. And in your ingame grafic settings, make sure the vram indicator is still on green and the game runs smooth. I can only say from my experience that it is NOT a social club error but the game is exceding the vram limit (by loading to much into it). I got the SAME error "Your account has been bla bla bla". This just happens because the game crashes and logs out of the social club. It just gives you the wrong information about the unexpected error. You can spend countless days on fixing it, but in my opinion it is just a simple reason of exceeding the vram limit. Remember what GTA IV did? Texture loss and then "GTAIV.exe has stopped working"? In my opinion its due to vram usage. That is the reason why rockstar doesn't reply to topics like these regarding GTA V or they just keep telling you the same thing: "update driver" and so on. They made this game to run smooth, they advertised it to run smooth and they want you to run it smooth. And they made this option "ignore suggested limits" for a good reason. When you turn this on it says something like "issue may happen bla bla bla". An that is what you get = issues.
  9. Hi there, I'm having the same issue. But I guess it is a game related problem and has nothing to do with the hardware. Imagine every shadow would be rendered in high quality the game would run out of vram in a very short time. So my guess is that R* did this on purpose. I can be wrong but that is my opinion in that case. But no doubt, it looks as ugly as ****.
  10. I have a toaster, what can I expect? I have a fridge, it cools down to -2 degree. Can i run it with 60 fps? Honestly, without any kind of system spec no one is able to help you. I read thousands of post the days before GTA V came out saying: "Can I run it with this specs". Do yourself a favor. Think a moment and you might come to the conclusion to look at the recomended system specs at: https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/203428177-Grand-Theft-Auto-V-PC-System-Specs
  11. First step i would take is to disable the high res shadows. Second try direct x10. What system specs do you have? edit: like leo3856 said, you definitly running out of vram
  12. Looks like Alexander Blade released the SDK for Scripthook V. You can get it at: http://gtaforums.com/topic/788343-gtavrel-script-hook-v/
  13. Go to: http://www.geforce.com/drivers Under "manual driver search" enter your card and operating system. It shows a list of drivers. Choose the driver you want. To install the driver (downgrading from 350.12 for example) uninstall the current driver. To do this go do your system divice manager, choose display (grafic card), right click properties, driver, unistall driver. After the diver is uninstalled, install the driver you downloaded. Done. If you have specific setting in your nvidia control pannel (for example enable DSR or something similar) restore them manualy. You'll lose these settings due to uninstalling the previous driver.
  14. Ok, from what I experienced, do you: - mess around the the graphics and advanced graphic settings? - game crashes for me, when I mess around with the ingame graphics setting or benchmarking. Restarting the game after changing graphic settings or running the benchmark solves the problem - do you use advanced settings? - if yes, then this could be the reason. Advanced distance scaling is a killer for example I came to the conclusion that the game crashes because it loads to much in the vram. Another very strange issue is, that my game doesn't really like the latest nvida driver (350.12) though the driver should be optimized for gta v (very strange). I switched back to 347.88 and the game runs somehow smoother.
  15. I guess that is a good question to LMS regarding the natives.
  16. I don't know much about scripting or reverse engineering (I'll improve that :-) ) but i guess that is a huge step forward to customize GTA V.
  17. For sure. Take a look over the ocean at germany. We have a lot of "mistgabeln" aka pitchforks here. Thats why the crime rate here is so decreased. Nobody fucks with a "mistgabel".
  18. When I read topics like this considering the us firearm law crap I always think the USA is still in the time of the wild wild (very wild, because every idiot needs a gun) west. But with this brand new non lethal gun *facepalm* the world especially in the usa will be a bit better.
  19. Hey LukeD, I read your post and I tought I try to explain the problem regarding the "it crashes, help - posts". I can only explain it from what I experienced. When I use callouts+ I get texture loss after about 20 minutes. Removing Callouts+ allows me to play for hours without any problems at all. As soon as i get the texture loss issue I know 100% that the next callout will crash. I doesn't matter if its a callout from callouts+ or from lcpdf itself. I tried it with a clean install only using lcpdfr and callouts+. I guess it is a memory related issue. I don't know what causes the high memory usage while playing with callouts+ ?! Another point is that when it crashes i only get an error from the advanced hook log telling me the following: Log started on: 18:28:59 4-2-2015 ------------------------ [iNFO - 18:28:59] Gameversion - 1.0.7.0 [iNFO - 18:28:59] XLiveLess present - skipping xlive changes [iNFO - 18:28:59] Improving ELS compatibility [iNFO - 18:28:59] AdvancedHook 0.38 © 2010-2015 LMS - Initialized [iNFO - 18:28:59] E-Mail: lms@lcpdfr.com [iNFO - 18:28:59] Permission granted for LCPDFR & ELS only [iNFO - 18:28:59] Thanks to listener, aru, #iv-modding and cp702 [iNFO - 18:28:59] Attaching exception handler... Cheers, Jety!
  20. Discribing the problem would help a lot!
  21. I solved the problem by disabling els for ai. Look at the bottom of the els.ini. There is an option to disable els for ai in singleplayer (ai_sp) and mulitplayer (ai_mp).
  22. I am not 100% sure but the following link might help. '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  23. I have no idea what kind of mods your run or what problem you want to solve using a commandline parameter. I guess you want less texture pop in and map loading. Start telling us what mods do you use and the people can help you with tipps and tricks regarding your performance issue. Cheers!
  24. I guess in a couple of months there will be grafic mods like enb's. This happens right after "newer" games are released showing even better grafics. I think the enb making starts when people think the games grafic is outdated.
  25. I would do the following (I know it sucks): - Completely uninstall GTA4 and all modifications - Do a fresh install - Than add mod by mod and allways try if it still works - Due to a the fact that it is a smpa60 error I bet it is related to a car mod Cheers!
