  1. So I've been messing around with liveries for some time, even making fleet-wide liveries for a couple smaller RP servers and making some real-world examples with simpler text designs. However, I want to up my game. My question is: how can I copy real-world styles efficiently into liveries? My main issue is copying the text effects certain departments (see Cook County Sheriff's Office) utilize. In the attached photo, I'd like to copy the design in "Sheriff", the light to dark color shift and the slight outline effect. Is there a pro-secret to doing this relatively efficiently? I use CS6 exclusively for liveries. Is there a different program that is recommended? Thanks for any tips!
  2. Any chance you know where I can find FBI2? It's not in any of the usual directories. Edit: Found it. Patchday2ng.
  3. Going through trying to replace certain emergency vehicles, but the only ones I've been able to make work in-game are 'police' and an added Tahoe. I can't seem to figure out which directory I need to use to edit each individual vehicle, particularly the sheriff vehicles. Editing them via x64e doesn't seem to work. I currently use a mod folder containing the 'update' folder, 'x64' folder, and the 'x64e' RPF. If anyone could tell me which RPF directory I need to edit or direct me somewhere that can, it would be greatly appreciated.
Very accurate and well done. Kinda difficult finding a good Charger model to get the Charger Texture to work properly with.
  4. I'm looking for a mod that I had a long while back that would allow you to choose what weapon sound file you would like to use for a certain weapon. It was as simple as choosing say the PSG1 and choosing to use the Uzi sound for it. I do NOT want IVAud or anything like that, I already have them. Just trying to find this simpler way again. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
  5. I've been working on a Sedgwick Country Sheriff's skin, and I've been able to successfully recolor the texture, but when I go to add the badge and arm patches for the county, they come out distorted and blurred. I was wondering if there's some sort of 3D modeling or something preventing me from doing this. Any help is appreciated. http://gyazo.com/591b985625eac3698ca48e43883a9d1b Not the skin in question, but the same problem nonetheless.
  6. I was wondering if you could do a Kansas State Trooper ped skin. It's the only decent photo I could find. No worries if you can't do much with it. Thanks
  7. I was able to edit the textures. Thanks a ton!
  8. I was wondering if there was a way within ELS or the GTA Directory itself to make all the lights on one specific police vehicle the same color. Like keep Police 1, Police 2, Noose, etc. with red and blue flashers, but have fbi all blue lights. I've seen it done before and several searches on YouTube and Google have turned up with no results. Thanks for any help.
