Yes to both. Uninstalled EFLC again today, then re-installed it again and am still having the same issues. Still won't patch to 1.0.7.0 either

Hello all, I recently had a massive system crash which then led to me re-installing Windows 7 to get things back up and running again. With the crash, I lost EFLC and had to completely remove my game files and make a fresh re-install. I have an actual CD/DVD copy of the game and not from Steam. Since I re-installed, my game has not run correctly at all. It won't let me patch to 1.0.7.0 in attempts to get LCPDFR back running as well which, like many, is the sole reason I even purchased EFLC for PC. It has been some time since I have had to mess with installing EFLC so I may be rusty but it is usually straight forward and never causes any issues. Usually you follow the directions and its done, however, that is not the case this time. I have never had any issues running my game smoothly until now. The game starts fine, however shortly after starting the first mission, the frame rate drops and becomes very choppy. Sometimes the entire screen goes black except for the words and the map, other times the graphics just go haywire (I've attached a picture of that). I also play ARMA 3 without any issues at all with graphics or the game in general. I am desperate to get my game back up and running a will do whatever it takes to get there. Can anyone help me with this or point me in the right direction? I also have teamviewer if someone wants to give extra help and advice.... Feel free to PM me as well.... I work midnights and well, this helps keep me occupied during the day and my nights off.... For those of you who enjoy a challenge......please help! Lol

Forgive me if I have overlooked it but, how easy or tough are the developers think it will be to cross LCPDFR over into GTA V? Aside from the obvious, "we'll just have to see how the code is written".

Hello all, I have recently had to conduct some maintenance on my computer which caused me to lose some of my applications, gta iv was one of them. Ill of my files are still there and gta is still installed however, it needs the serial number of my game for me to "complete" the game as if it was just re-installed. I cannot find my original game box and am trying not to have to purchase another copy, does anyone know if the serial nu,ber may be in some of the game installation files? I considered just waiting until GTA V came to PC but I know it will be a good while until LCPDFR and all of its mods are transferred over, it that will even be possible.... Thanks for the assistance.

I like it but I respond to 1 call and it seems to crash the callouts. I don't get an error message of any sort. I hit F7 just to see if it is still running and I only get the LCPDFR receiving/not receiving callouts, yours no longer appears.

its working now, i had to put it in the regular directory rather than in the scripts folder

For whatever reason, After exiting the station and selecting my vehicle, I choose the Bike and hit enter. I then spawn a police bike for my partner but he does not get on, he just runs around and tries to keep up on foot. Never getting on the bike himself. Any thoughts?

Hey there, The lights for Police3 are very very birght, so bright that it drowns out much of the color and end up looking more white than red or blue. This is the only slot that is having this issue. Any thoughts to a fix?

Haha, no problem. As some of you on here know, some information gets lost in translation between the E911 dispatch and Police dispatch. Or... people exaggerate their stories to receive a quicker response.

Is this effect only available for ELS 8 optimized vehicles or is it an effect all ELS vehicles can use? I'm not sure how to get that ground lighting/flash effect in my game, any suggestions?

Some cops do abuse their powers, I see it when I work with other agencies. I depends on the type of officer/deputy and the people they deal with. It is unfortunate that some people act the way that they do but I can see how officers/deputies get bitter against everyone because people do not respect authority the way they used to. People also get away with acting they way that they do so they continue their behavior. In 1 night I had 4 separate cars run from me because they know they can and we can't chase them..... I think it is instances like that that cause some officers to act the way they do. Not saying I agree with their actions because I don't in the slightest, but I just see how people can get pushed over the edge.
