Can you tell the Hurk the wheels on the Tahoe appear too big?. Someone else did, and he ripped into them. Those Tahoes sure do look good in CHP livery though IRL. Anyone know what their role is?

Moutain Patrol and Desert Patrol, the only ones are in Southern California. Will soon get them in Northern California like Truckee or Lake Tahoe where 4WD vehicles are needed.

The spotlights look a little large as well...

Personally, they look good to me. Keep in mind the tahoe isn't on even ground in this photo, the passenger side wheel is down in a ditch. I'll mention it though. Never be afraid to talk to hurk, he likes constructive criticisms and help identifying bugs, he's just been frustrated because there have been some people that have been not so grateful for some of the stuff he's released, and I can't blame him for snapping at them :P

For me personally the wheels look too big, I've noticed from IRL images that there's a sizeable gap in the wheel arches, which isn't apparent in the pictures. In any case its a WIP, it's hard to see from one image alone, and the angle the photo was taken at (whilst beautiful) makes it hard to make a good judgement .

Yeah, see? I know the car's black so it really doesn't help, but the wheels look kinda small right? haha. 

With that comment, i flipped out because instead of being grateful that i took the time to release something i busted ass on, That person decided they wanted to bitch about the size of the wheels, it was a DEV model, that person is more then capable of fixing it themselves. I think i take most criticism well, as i use a lot of it to try and better myself as a modeler. 

Now dealing with this vehicle, the wheels may be slightly too big but as problematic said, they look huge in this photo. I don't remember having them that big because even i agree they look too large.

EDIT: also looking back on the picture, the rear wheel is the size that all of them are, so i think the wheels are pretty good.

Well that's the main thing, as long as you're able to take criticism well and build on it, no one can fault you. There will be Californians on here which see these vehicles every day, and I hope if they give advice you're able to implement it. That's all I can ask for.

Thats why when I go to put up my CHP pack, i want to get as much feedback on it.

I think everyone just needs to appreciate how much time and effort Hurk puts into his models. And I also feel there's a fine line between constructive criticism and simply being ungrateful regarding the efforts spent in making the model. You can be constructive without being rude and making the author feel unappreciated. I've seen plenty of people who don't understand this commenting on Hurk's files, so I give him a lot of credit for putting up with that. That being said, the WIP pics look great so far. Keep up the amazing work, and thank you for all you do for this community.

Now im not a tahoe expert, but that particular tahoe/wheel size looks fuckugly, I may not have ever noticed it but wow those are tiny wheels for such a big car.

They are proper size for the Tahoe (Talking about the real life one?) Same size for the past two generation Tahoes. They do look odd since since its lifted (Most police cars are lifted due to weight being put on them when being outiftted. )

Yeah the PPV wheels are a bit to small, now for the SSV wheels, they are perfect since the tire itself (Mostly a Goodyear Wrangler for Departments) is bigger than the Goodyear RSA. I also think how big or how small they are depends on angle, how much the Tahoe is weighed down and what tire they have on.

Great job on your CHP pack your doing a wonderful job as always. keep up the great work they look beautiful.
