Will there be an LSPD version too? As far as I know all you need to do is change the badges referencing LA to their LS counterparts.

No. This is the Oval shaped badge. The LSPD badge wouldn't fit. Ntm, the LSPD officers are already great.

They're not red and green. These textures were straight from the original LSPD uniforms.

Oh yeah. That lightbar is BxBonehead's. I'm eventually going to make some LAPD cruisers with it. It won't be unlocked, though. He said he wants me to keep it locked. I'll rip off the lightbar and include a second version that's unlocked without the lightbar on.

Not a slicktop, just the car without the light bar. Made for people who'd like to rip out my interior equipment or whatnot and use it for their own purposes. Other models like my upcoming Plymouth Fury will be completely locked. Solo will have to be asked for an unlocked model. He just wants to be safe of model thieves.

I could tell, as the original LSPD uniforms also have discoloration in the textures. It's my pet peeve, and a simple fix.

They were. Before you edited them!

My advice is to use .dds format for saving edited textures because OpenIV often fucks up their .png file quality.

that's because need edit the texture format in OpenIV to A8R8G8B8  for best quality, and DXT5 for other textures, and also edit mip map levels

There is no difference in quality between DXT1 (saved as .dds before import) and A8R8G8B8 (saved as .png), but the last has bigger size and negatively affects game performance.

The more mipmap levels texture has, the better it looks in distance.
