Game is skipping

when i load GTA 4, And go into Story mode for regular game it skipps like i have a bad computer, well i just got this computer last week.

Any tips to help?

I might if you would post your specs it might be your computer being to slow. Once again not trying to be a dick here but before you say this computer is new it dosnt matter if the specs are crap. Just tell me the specs of your computer again.

Try reducing your GTA graphics settings, as well as closing any other programs that may be open whilst playing.

the 3GB RAM is a little small for GTA, and with only 256MB on your gfx card that's not much, lower settings as Tom H will help.
