Hi again everyone. I was wondering do anyone know how to get the laptops in police car's 3,4,and b to work. much appreciated.

Not sure if they can be made to work, as no one has done it yet.

Maybe they can add in support in LCPDFR for other vehicles sometime in the future..

I'm not sure what you mean. I got a Charger loaded in the Police3 spot and the laptop seems fine. I can check the LCPD database and run checks on citizens.

Ok, i used the tool from over at gtapolicemods for police car 3 and someone told me how to add police 4, and b. I have lights, sirens, and police scanner, but when i press E to use the laptop it doesn't work. Am i missing something. Maybe line in vehicle ide or handling or something. I used the same lines from police3, i just changed the numbers to 4 and b. I will go back and retrace my steps starting with police3.

I would almost pay you money if you did actually find a way to add computer functions to one of those vehicles.

I loaded up the default cars just see what you guys meant and them vehicles don't have computers in them. That's why you can't access the thing, it doesn't exist for those cars and bike. If any of you have experience modding cars, I'd suggest loading up police1 or 2 and borrow the computer from there and see if it works. I don't know what I'm doing in ZModeler so I'm unable to help any further. You could just download any other police vehicle with a computer and replace the vehicle. That should work as it did for me.

I use Ekalb's Buffalos and have used assorted other vehicles with computers in them, so it has to be something else. Seems that it's hardcoded since those police slots were never intended to be used outside of multiplayer.

Pretty sure Douglas Allen is using EFLC and the other two, just added vehicles in IV.

Maybe it's that simple. If you don't use EFLC, those slots don't work with the computer at all. It's odd since GTA4 still recognizes them as police vehicles.
