I was searching for various tutorials but I didn't find what I was looking for when it comes to making non-els stock vehicles. I took SultanRs from Gta and imported in Zmodeler, I was thinking of just adding two non-els lights to front and to back of the vehicle - marked red (see pictures below):

Back lights should be inside the vehicle. Maybe adding a lightbar later but I have no clue how to do that either.

Any help would be appreciated. :smile:

Import the default police cruiser and take the lightbar from it

If you don't mind not having an actual model for the lights, just use the dummies for the sirens and move them into position.

Yeah, I'll use dummies. The problem is when I create one, how do I resize them or it doesn't matter what size are they? And how to move it (tweaking xyz axe is getting them bigger).

The size of the dummies doesn't matter. The move tool won't change the size of anything....

Don't create your own, the game likes to crash with own-made ones.

Just use the ones from the police cruiser.

Hmm.... I've never had a problem with my own created dummies.

Okay. I converted to dummy siren4 and siren5 (that things circled red in the picture, just from the siren and no, it wasn't a siren_glass). Now how do I add that to sultan and delete police cruiser? (If I delete police cruiser, dummies will be gone, too so how to save dummies?)

Drag both of the dummies out of the hierarchy and then drop them into the Sultans

You don't need too. as long as they are in the hierarchy they'll work.

Yeah, but you need to

1)Move them into the correct position on the vehicle

2)Load the shared vehicle textures when into the material browser.

Okay, I moved the dummies into position (screen below).

Where do I find that shared vehicle textures and how to load them?

Here you go. I believe the RS uses this interior;

Create them yourself, name them siren1 to siren8. Even numbers are white, Uneven numbers are blue., move them to the position you like.

Create a new dummie, call it ''misc_h''. Position and size of dummie misc_h does not matter. Put all the siren dummies into the ''misc_h'', then put the misc_h under dummies.

Warning, the amount of working lights depends on what vehicle you install it on. So if you want this to be your FIB Buffalo I'd go with siren1 and 2 til 4, else it might not work.

@Eagle, have you imported any textures whatsoever?

No, I didn't import any textures. I'm going to import what Harper gave me (I opened material browser, so that image you gave me, how to call it and on what to import it?)

EDIT: I placed all sultans textures that I found in game, and placed it into textures browser. What's next?

Its best you import all textures before importing the model to avoid any issues once its ingame.
