Because many many users doesn't read manuals and even mess up their game up installing new scripthook I'm currently working on making PoliceHelper compatible with ScriptHook 1.7.1.4.
That's why next version will be ALPHA, because I don't have time to test everything again.

Hi Abraxas, one bug:

 

I have in PliceHelper.ini:

 

Units = 1
// 0 - imperial units (default), 1 - metric units

 

But in PoliceHelper in game I get "IMPERAL" and when activated the bait car, appears in yards. I put it back in "metric" in game, save changes and fine until I exit the game and go back inside, the bug starts again

EMSbodies = False

/ / If METT / Coroner mod is installed if you want to choose paramedics to still get rid of bodies

Yet paramedics deal with the bodies, again as with Unit setting if you change the game and saved, is arranged.

Fortunately i don't need to bother you any further as i followed the uninstall instructions for the GPT and then re-added the latest PoliceHelper and everything is fine again, it was my fault for not realising that more than just the script folder files needed removing.

I dont like the new main menu.. too many clicks to get anywhere. Would be nice to have CALL EMS, POLICE, FIRE on the main window and not under SERVICES.  Actually i dont think you can even call police through it.. have to go through the lcpd computer thing. Is it possible to spawn POLICE at your location and keep them there? Now when you spawn them through the lcpd computer they come, walk around and leave in 5 seconds...

 

Second thing, the custom fine amount should be set through the ini file. I have to keep adjusting it every time to my preferred amount. I want to put it at a specific amount and not have to worry about it.

 

Speeding cars drive into anything and everything and just wreck into other traffic.. No i mean they literally behave as if launched from a catapult. Not sure i like that too much.. its in fact, annoying

 

Now that you have expanded it to this point, is it possible to run people's info when they are in a car? Such as when you do a traffic stop, you walk up the window and can run id like when on foot. Right now it just says "suspect has to be close and in front of you". again, not sure if that is possible even.

 

Last and somewhat not related to this here.. can you make tow service keep a track of how many cars you have towed? And related to here, keep track of citations within policehelper and any other thing you can think of. I think statistics are fun!

Hopefully that'll work for me. I have the latest ScriptHook (99% sure I do) and it doesnt work for me, so I'll just wait.

Menu:

It is reworked for a reason. There are more options coming and I just had to group somewhere similar options to have place for everything. Put cone somewhere and while on foot turn on the device. You'll see that there is place for one, maybe two buttons left. In Call menu there are 5 of them!

Police backup:

There never was police backup in PoliceHelper menu and it is not planned.

 

Custom fine:

That suggestion is good. I won't make it set in ini, but I will save it's value to file every time you use it, ok?

Speeding cars:

Those are not speeders, they are reckless drivers. You can always turn off traffic events or make them less common by changing timeout.

I will be adding more stats in future versions. First will be number of collected and delivered evidence. Number and total amount of citations is cool idea too. If you have more ideas for this just write them here.

Are there any things that you actually like in new version? :D

The more I try the new Policehelper I like, stealing a mobile dependent sex shop, a fight inside a hospital ... just amazing. I've only seen a couple of error messages, but the important thing is that the script does not stop working.

Thanks. I take a look at it. Reports with logs are priceless. Thanks to that I know exactly where bug occurred.

That laughter, Policehelper created a car thief who got into the car that was on the truck Towing Service, the thief accelerating, moving the steering wheel and screaming like crazy as the truck took them both hahaha.

I just reinstalled my game and my friend installed this mod for me can someone give me a step by step how to install it.

Hahaha, hilarious situation with that tow truck. I have to check if car is attached before using it in event :D

 

David E. You need help with what? You just said that friend installed it for you and you now need help with... installing it.

He installed before I had to reinstall cause I went to put an enb in and messed it up so I need like a step by step or someone to install it for me cause my friend is out of town

Mother, at the junction star eh not get bored, there have been hit by a reckless driver policehelper, take it out of the car, and arrest a car thief comes and takes it off when I was funny but a bit surreal right? HAHAHAHA

All installation instructions are in manual. There is also link to video tutorial. I can't make it easier :/
