GTA V slows down when running LSPDFR

Featured Replies

Hello. I realize that whenever I am not on duty in GTA V, I average 60 or more FPS on the lowest settings, but whenever I am on duty in the city it drops my FPS to about 30 FPS, and in Blaine County/Plateo Bay, I average about 40 FPS. Is there any fix to this? I have a lot of mods installed, probably that is the issue. But, I am just trying to figure out what mods I can have without any FPS drops? Ideas?

Hello,

I could be wrong but FPS is related to memory in the game. The more memory being used, the greater the FPS drop. What types of mods are you running?

These are all the mods I have installed including EUP, and ELS. No Visual Mods.

I've found this issue as well, since you're forcing your game to run scenarios and loading more plugins which take up more memory your game is not going to run as smooth as without LSPDFR, this is just a downside to running multiple plugins, mods and scripts. If you just run LSPDFR it shouldn't affect it, but it's when you add more plugins.

Looking at the list I can only think of try removing assorted callouts or the peterU callouts.

The issue isn't the callouts. It is a memory issue, it is most likely due to an excess amount of addon vehicles causing the game memory to be taken up.

Albos mods (specifically arrest manager) caused my rig to drop from 70fps to 30. I doubt it's the cars because I run custom cars including like 12 add on slots. It's never dropped in fps unless I spawn in 10 or more, not just idle. And even then the only issue I come up with is texture loss and invisibility.

Doesn't hurt to try it though

It can be a mixture of both, I have just seen more fps drop when I have like 50 addons installed. But vehicles tend to take up a lot of memory.

I have a lot of vehicles installed. A couple packs here and there.

That is most likely the issue then. You can always remove some in order to get rid of some of the lag.
