spike strips would be nice . kinda like how old school need for speed game was.

Actually, road blocks (not bridge blocks) have been implemented into the game; I was recently playing TLAD and in the mission in which you steal a prison bus, road blocks were scripted to block off intersections. It was actually pretty cool. I think it would be best though to start with bridge blocks and perhaps spike strips if the bugs can be tinkered with.

agree ^ perfer spikes if it can be worked out if not so be it. but it would be hard to throw a spike infront of the sus since tehy are so unpredictable inless they are goin on the highway

Road blocks will happen automatically in game (by this I mean vanilla GTA IV) if you get a high enough wanted level and you attempt to cross a major bridge to another area.

Maybe you could make this idea work if it wasn't randomized on streets. Like have road blocks blocking the bridge like in GTA single player. It would only be a good idea im you increase the criminals driving skills or make the pursuit long so when they try to get to another island they can't because it is locked down with patrol cars. But that's the only part of road block ideas i think would work and the risk of harming a Civilian would decrease. Just add Area Livery Mod at road blocks location. But yet again just a thought.
