I have Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City installed. When I try to install LCPDFR 0.95 RC2 I get an error during install....

I don't have a GTA4 folder like most of you. Only a /EFLC/ folder.

Do I need the regular version ot GTA4 to install this LCPD?

LCPDFR works on GTA IV and EFLC.

Anyone have some suggestions. This does not work. I have re-installed a fresh OS and game. Still same error.

By looking at your report you don't have a ASI loader, and you also need C++ and .Net Frame Work.

I have GTA4 and the exact thing happend to me, i cant find a way to get it working, also if i try and load GTA IV, it crashes and says: "GTA IV Is not responding", and closes the window.

If you are crashing when the game is starting you need to run the game as a Administrator. That or you have to many mods causing this problem.

Why people don't use google/search...

BTW. OP states that he hasn't even installed LCPDFR, so none of those solutions posted above will help (no offense).

I've done everything in the forums. I have all the apps installed. It errors out on me during install.

Ok, getting closer. Installed fine without the taser option checked. So it seems. Now when I try to launch the game it crashes. Tried as Admin as well.

Ran G17 Media IV Diagnostics and all show ok. No issues.

Did you update GTA EFLC to patch 1.1.2.0 before installing LCPD:FR? If not, you can still update the game now and it should work.

THANK YOU! Finally got the game to start. Now how do I play in cop mode? I press ALT P but the game keeps taking back to the mission after I enter the police station.

To play in cop mode do the following:

• Press Alt - P to activate the mod
  
• Go to the nearest police station (Marked as a police badge blip on map). Then enter the check point.
  
• One in the station go to the room straight ahead and you will be prompted to select a character. (Select Character)
  
• Once you're done with that, exit the station, pick your car and you are ready for patrol!
  

I try that and the game always sends me back to the start of the mission. I activate the mod. Goto Police station and enter. I run to room straight ahead but never make it there. It takes me back to start of mission.

When i installed lcpdfr for plain old gta 4 i did a few missions so i would'nt be bothered. im2badd, play 3-4 missions then activate lcpdfr. :D your going to love this mod.
