Hey guys,

 

Im desperate for help here. I have tried everything, literally. Updated all files required to run RPH and LSPDFR, also created a group policy to completely disable my Anti-Virus. I will attach my RPH log file.

Is it a clean install of GTA5? Or you have some mods installed already?

 

Please go to the RPH Settings and set PluginTimeoutThreshold to 60000. Also please post your launcher log. You find it in documents/rockstargames/GTA5.

Yes it is a clean install with no mods at all, also i just tried the 60000 and no change at all. Im attaching the launcher file. Thanks in advance.

Do you tried the safe mode after GTA crashed? Also please try to use window force mode. And then post RPH-Log again. Thanks.

The game itself launches fine, i just tried with safe mode and also the previous log file i posted was with windowed mode enabled in Rage. I will attach again

Please try to start GTA5 without RPH and when the game finished loading, start your RPH. Don´t know if this way works but it´s worth a try i guess.

Tried it that way as well no luck either, ill post the log file.

Hmm that all is very strange. Do you run GTA5 and RPH as admin?

No but its funny you mention it, every time i double click rage it pops up and asks if i want to allow the program to make changes to my device

Please  rightclick on RPH.exe go to properties-compatibilty and set program run as admin. Do the same with GTA5.exe and GTA5Launcher.exe

Just curious, at which point does the game crash? Is it usually the same point?

for me its right after startup. 

Its right after it says hooking instance and the lights from the rockstar logo start flashing, basically at startup per say

Man I absolutely understand the frustration and believe me I have a crash almost  every time I install a new addon or graphics mods. It could be an outdated file, dependency or a mod and sometimes the attributes of a file that windows doesn't auto allow. I love this game and I know the feeling of just wanting to play it and not have to troubleshoot  it every time you add something. 

 

The retail version seems to be tricky. I have a separate Game folder for the game when using LSPDFR. I only use mods in a mods folder. 

 

I sometimes have to literally click each new file I add to LSPDFR and change it's attributes to allow.  

 

I'm sure you've tried everything you could and hopefully some one can come up with a foolproof  way to get this game to run flawlessly. 

 

You could possible try another Gameconfig file for that version. 

 

In your Launcher.log the error is Localised: Launcher error.  Code: 107 

Search for that error and see what solutions others are finding. 

 

Make sure you're clicking force windowed mode and borderless window in the RagePluginHook settings. 

 

Hopefully  you get it running duder.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thanks for all the help, I have considered getting the steam version just because all the issues I have been plagued with, especially having to spend and hour + putting in 9 discs to do a clean install if my vanilla files I backed up somehow get borked. Funny thing is I never had an issue til 0.4 was released
