Question to why modded police cars won’t load into game

Featured Replies

Hey LSPDFR community,

i recently just built my new computer, first thing I buy is GTA 5 and install LSPDFR. I download LSPDFR and install it all correctly. I tested it out just with only LSPDFR installed, everything worked just fine without modded cars and plugins etc,

once I tried downloading a  modded police car into the latest patch day ( for me it was Png20) but when I went to look in the file I couldn’t find any police , Sheriff, FBI, PoliceB etc files to replace . So I just dragged and dropped the modded car files into the latest patch day like some LSPDFR users say to do,  Nothing worked. I would still get the standard in game police vehicles. (Note I tried this with OPENIV, yes I had all of the things installed such as ASI manager etc)

im wondering if I should just delete the game and reinstall it? Or should I just fully delete GTA 5 and LSPDFR or all of the files that have to do with LSPDFR. Or should I just factory reset my computer, I have nothing really that important that is on my hardrive.

So I gave up on that and tried to download assorted call outs, arrest manager etc. I followed all the steps to make sure the installation was correct. Which it was. I launched LSPDFR with RPH and after a few seconds my computer freezes for a few seconds and I get a message saying my LSPDFR crashed. I’m stuck and would really like some help, should I just reinstall everything from scratch again? Like GTA, LSPDFR, RPH, script hook etc..

Hello!

Installing vehicle mods is made a lot easier with Albo1125's Modding DLC Pack V.

That allows you to install your own vehicles, weapons and peds without having to find the correct patchday archive.

Regarding the cars, take the files out of patchday20 and try putting them in patchday15. I use all my cars in there.  And regarding your computer freezing or crashing, I restart my computer after ever few installs into open iv because RPH is sketch. Also make sure you aren't downloading any outdated plugins or plugins that conflict with other plugins. Lastly, READ THE INI AND README FILES!

Good luck.

@SgtneilsonBPD I highly recommend using Albo1125's Modding DLC, as suggested by lovkal. What this does, is, inside your mods folder, creates a dlc pack/patchday called "MODDING". What this does is allows you to put all your mods into one single dlc.rpf, and not have to worry about working out which patchday you need to put your mods into! 🙂

Also, a big welcome to the community.

Tried that , I still only get the in game standard vehicles . Should I just delete LSPDFR and all the plugins and reinstall everything?

If they're not showing then you're something. See if you have the latest scripthookv.
