Many callout plugins create pursuits, but fail to add the player to them (for example, pursuit of heavily armed suspects etc etc). how do I join this pursuit? the keybind for call in pursuit (B by default) doesn't appear to work on existing AI pursuits, and forcing a pursuit on the same peds causes a crash.

what do you mean with the player is not added to the pursuit? do you see the map area bliping (sign of pursuit in progress)?

 

if suspect is fleeing without any sign of pursuit blips, hold the "B" key (default) to report crime and the pursuit will be triggerred

no, but AI units are pursuing the vehicle. and holding B does nothing

Plugins probably aren't correctly setting a pursuit. I know I had a similar issue with United Callouts in the past, and a recent update states it fixed a bu like that.
