I used to play Emergency 4 LA mod and a feature that was most commonly used for police vehicles was having the ability to redirect traffic via lightbars or signs or officers. This wasn't overly complicated as it simply forced ai traffic to "flip a u" or turn around and drive back the way they came. Now forgive me as I don't mod or script or develop but I DO PLAY and as a player, I have to ask if this is something that might be possible using the GTAV interface? 

 

I guess I just hope to manage the streets of Los Santos more effectively as I hate causing large traffic jams, traffic accidents and mad confusion when I pull over a vehicle and attempt to enjoy the game mod for what it's worth. And please don't get me wrong, I DO enjoy it for the most part but there is something that has me asking "can we do more?" I mean if we can't make adjustments to have ai traffic divert to another route, then can we script it to "move around" my vehicle as I finish my stop?

 

Also, my question regarding ELS is "does anyone have any info or solution ideas as to why ELS equipped vehicles can't run code2 silent?" Thanks!!

If you want to move your traffic stop into a more suitable location use Traffic Policers mimic function with CTRL + R. And you can control traffic with Interaction+ G Traffic menu. Hope this helps.

Yes I have played with the ini files but turning on silent code 2's with ELS equipped vehicles turns their lightbars off completely (defeating the purpose of code 2 in the first place). I'm trying to get a more technical explination as to why it's not compatible. 

 

And yes I use traffic policer to modify stop locations but sometimes the stop or pursuit forces itself into traffic.

Yeah that's just how it goes I'm afraid until we get more config .inis that allow us to modify the game further.

I understand that, just was hoping to start a discussion to maybe get some developers attention on it.

There was a feature in the "Sergeant" plugin that was around, where you could set points to divert cars, though that plugin is almost a year past updated.
