ELS Not working. All solutions exhausted

Featured Replies

Yesterday I hopped onto LSPDFR for a quick session. When I got in to the game I went on duty spawned my police car as usual, when i got inside the car I hit J to activate the lights but all I got was my tail lights wig-wagging. So I then proceeded to go through all my ELS police vehicles and try all my light stages, with the same result every time - wig wagging tail lights. The sirens are sounding, the take down lights can be toggled on and off, and when I press Ctrl+P the ELS lighting menu pops up.

After spending some time researching I found multiple possible solutions which include: 1. Uninstalling the reinstalling all OpenIV ASI files, then restarting my PC 2. Deleting plugins folder. 3. Fresh install of ELS 4. Fresh VCF files. None of these possible solutions worked Right now I am out of solutions.

I really love the ELS mod because it add great realism to the game and its a real shame that I cannot get it working.

Any help is really greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Yeah they were working perfectly last time I used them, and no I had not installed anything onto my computer or GTA since they were last working.

Same Problem here too. I'm on the latest LSPDFR and installed just one car (police2) was working fine over months and out of the blue after a one week break from gaming it stopped working. I just have red wig wagging tail lights. :( no solution worked so far. The original in-game cars are working fine

I had this happen before, but I forgot what I did to fix it. Verify the vehicle files are installed correctly, XML files are in the pack_default folder (or whatever your ELS default is), uninstalling/reinstalling ASI loader and OpenIV ASI files (there are TWO of them, make sure you do both!), reinstall scripthookV.

Those are some of the big things I would check. I think the ASI loader and OpenIV ASI method fixed it for me, but then again this was back in 0.3 and it has not happened since. I wish I could offer more help, but that's all I got at the moment. Good luck getting it fixed!

I've already checked all of this. Still not working. I guess I have to downgrade the Nvidia update. This might be the only solution :( (Forget to mention that my ELS stopped working after the Nvidia graphic card update)

So try reinstalling the ASI loader, OpenIV ASI, and reinstall ELS.  Once completed, restart your computer, don't shut down, just restart.  Hope this helps, just got my ELS working again.
