I've unbound everything from controller apart from ELS. Just let me know what you need help with when you get to it. For starters you probably just want most of them default until they start conflicting for you. It's a matter of testing mods out individually not just chucking them all in at the same time.

GTA V is still a very demanding game even with today's top tier hardware. Couple that with the fact that people are out there playing with poorly optimized and/or outdated graphics mods and it's no surprise a lot of people can't play the game on anything above Normal or High.

Yeah even when the new generation of GTAV came out my PC was top notch back then and could just barely run the game on highest settings possible. The game has aged great.

Thanks for doing these tests, really appreciate it! Out of curiosity, do you have any verdicts regarding ComputerPlus and LSPDFR+ or have you not had the chance to test them out yet?

Computer+ is a great mod but not for me. It's unpolished and hasn't been touched in a long time. It also uses the fantastic court system from LSPDFR+ (which in my tests has been unstable and doesn't work well with other mods). If I could just get the court system from them both somehow without interference I'd happily add them to my list but they just cause to much conflict at the moment.
Great mods, just not compatible with this many other mods right now.

Noted. I use the setup from your list, with the exception of using PeterUCallouts as well as Computer+ and LSPDFR+. Might try to remove both of them as I have had some frequent crashes with LSPDFR.

Yeah just updated my list, PeterUCallouts are great but I can't guarantee that the callouts are fully stable because I haven't tested it enough. LSPDFR+ and Computer+ both crashed my game multiple times on this build. I feel like you could probably run them without STP, Traffic Policer etc but then (imo) it's a boring game with hardly any interaction etc. I'll get round to testing them again, right now I'm onto making a Need For Speed style game mode.

Hey sneaky! So I used mostly all of the mods you have been using but like you were saying last night, the key binds and controller binds are messed up. I fixed the problem with the police radio by using a different key bind but it's starting to get all repetitive and annoying. Also, I go to make a traffic stop, I go up to the person in the car and it wont let me talk to them. It makes me press right on the Dpad and that makes them get out of the car... 

Also, like ultimate back is a mess too. I'll open that and then it'll open up another menu lol.. All of these mods i've barely used because of the key bindings that are set on it and I just need help lol

Ok well like I said you can't use controller for everything, I've unbound literally everything from controller apart from ELS because I only use controller to drive in pursuits, otherwise you need to use the keyboard and mouse because the .ini files don't let you customize controllers functions to the full extent.

I set my UltimateBackup key to CapsLock because I still use the old menu sometimes but also need the new one for things like Air support or K9. If you go through the .ini configuration files for each one that's given you can set the keys inside those by editing in them in notepad.

When you pull someone over and go up to there car your character should automatically say "Hello" (this is LSPDFR) now you should be given the choice of talking to them using either Y or E. Y is Interaction+ menu and it will allow you to question the driver aswell as ask for ID and some other things, the normal LSPDFR menu with E will do the same thing but no questioning. So use both separately but at the same time to do different things.

Wait, what? What's wrong with Computer+? It has never crashed my game and works wonderfully with the more asset images add-on and real California agency backgrounds.

I've got it on the back burner, I love the mod but it seemed to just conflict with what I wanted to do. I'll apply it again some time soon.

Just use 0.4.

0.4.1 is very unstable imo.

Yeah, i play with LSPDFR+ and COMPUTER+.

For me these mods are essential.

Haven't had any issues with 0.4.

So, why should i update?

How can you say that? Lol it cant be your opinion that 0.4.1 is more unstable if you havent even updated. Either way, updating the base mod is crucial as it includes new API iirc as well as some bug fixes. Not to mention that mods that update will use this new version and will not work correctly on 0.4.

 

Also correct me if I'm wrong but isnt Albo basically done modding? And made his mods open source so the community can use them and make advancements on them (a la Stop The Ped and Interaction+)? So it would be wise to begin shedding those layers that will soon be unnecessary, like Albos mods that have basically been absorbed into newer mods.

 

Nice list you have here sssneaky, this is a great place for new or novice level modders to be able to have a solid place to start and build upon rather than just an end all list of mods mashed together that will only work if all are installed together.
