I have watched every single installation video on youtube for LSPDFR and am having issues. I have tried installing LSPDFR both auto install as well as manual install. I have also uninstalled GTA V from steam and reinstalled it. When i go to launch rage plug in it says "validating hook" then it says "validating system" then it just closes and does nothing. Can anyone please help me?

I also have the same problem and I do not use any anti-virus.

Look at my issue topic, I have exactly the same problem as you. I have figured out that the problem is because there is no “PlayGTAV.exe” file  in main GTA folder. Why? i Dont know.. I tried to reinstall the game but issue remains and there is no playGTAV.exe file in folder on the second time..

in my case it closes when arriving at '' skipping api-ms-crt-math-l1-1-0.dll ''

i have just regular windows defender. I literally just bought this computer just so i could play and now its not working :((

so I realized, when installing microsoft c ++ 2017, it automatically uninstalls c ++ 2015, I believe this is the problem, but I already tried to install both manually, and it did not solve the problem.

Do you know where you got D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\d3dx9_43.dll from? It should not be there

What’s weird is when I try to go into the windows defender manager it just wouldn’t open. The blue circle that’s on the top right of the mouse pointer just circles and flashes and does not open. So I just reset the entire computer and it opened and I disabled the entire windows defender. GTA is reinstalling now at a speed of 790 kB/s. Brutal!

You should only turn it off when you go to launch RPH. It doesn't need to be off during the download of GTA 5.

I have figured it out! Rage kept saying I need to download the miscrosoft c++ 2010 and framework etc. so I was downloading those and just dragging it into my game file. Instead I used RPH and drug RPH over the Microsoft thing and it said “open this with rage plug in” and I said yes and so it installed and now RPH is launching correctly

how are you installing the micosoft c++ and the net framework and whatever else it asks you to download? When that box pops up and says you need the micosoft stuff and says "do you want to exit" click no, and another box should pop up saying "would you like rage plug in to unblock these files" and it will have the microsoft files as well as a few other files. Also, when you're downloading the microsoft stuff, are you just dragging the files into your GTA V folder? Make sure you're actually installing the folder and not just dragging it into the GTA V folder. Actually click on the microsoft folder and do the installation process. That is what worked for me. I also completely disabled the windows defender as well as firewall. 

When I opened RPH it said to install Microsoft c++2010 I installed it and that's it,after that I tried to relaunch the RPH and it didn't ask anything.

do you suggesting to move the Microsoft c++ to the GTA v folder?

 

My Av is avast premier so pretty easy to let everything through it.

Try dragging RPH and hover over the microsfot c++ so it says "open with RPH?". Thats what I did and that is how it worked for me. It installed weird

I was having the same problem, and unfortunately I just managed to solve it by formatting the PC.

 

check if c ++ 2015 is installed!
