i want to start making script mods (small stuff like the breathalyser, then work up to doing stuff like LCPDFR) and was wondering if anyone knew of any programs for doing this (free is best im broke) or if they know of any scripting tutorials that could help me achive my goals!

If you are starting out with scripting you will find it much easier to go with SHDN, and use C#. C++ for beginners is a bad idea (that's how I started and now I regret it).

Plus, with C# you don't have to worry about memory management and such, and Visual Studio is very user-friendly and does a lot of nice things for you.

Oh and you may want to look at this http://gta-action.gamona.de/downloads/?download=5163 it's the 0.4.0 devkit, the one above is 0.3 and it may be outdated.

thanks for the reply's i have no experience and wanted to do basic scripts at first, something small like the brethalyser script, or the VDH towing service
