Remove all your mods, and install them one by one. Remembering to test the game between each mod install.

I've verified game cache and updated to latest game, now it won't even make it past the loading screen, crashing?

Did you remove all your mods (a clean game directory)?

I deleted my mods folder, still does same thing

Done all of them, reinstalled, everything, STILL crashes. I last made modifications to vehicles.meta - would they be deleted by game reinstall? Honestly don't know what it could be . Last message I get after RPH crash is something like Direct3d Watcher Thread ended

Hmm.. Obviously not your specs. Looked on the official rockstar website. Looks like they are perfect.

It might be something in your PC that isint in your specs (like a programme, etc). Do you have a friend who has GTA V and can you ask them if it runs on theirs?

I've read up on the issue, can you try starting GTA V in safe mode and then running RPH? Do you also have the most up to date RAGENativeUI.dll, etc?

Anywhos, hope this helps!

I'll try the new ragenativeui.dll, how do you start it in safe mode?

Thanks

Go to:

Steam (the app) > GTA V > Properties > Set launch options > Put in -safemode and it should start in safemode.

Hope this helps!

Hmm, interesting.

I did have this problem once on my old computer, but I forgot how to fix it.

When you load GTA V, do the fans start going as fast as they can, and when you crash do they slow down?

Nope

Nope

That debunks my theory for a possible driver or temperature issue.

Follow the steps below, this may work:

Steam (app) > Grand Theft Auto 5 > Properties > Local Game Files > Verify integrity of game files

This process will check if there is something missing from GTA V, which may be the case.

Hope this succeeds!

Done that at least three times. I've had the PC for a few years now, upgraded GPU and SSD the other day but even then it was still actually loading in game (but would crash after a few minutes).

this may or may not help..but i was having an issue for a week..tried everything..and it ended up being Cheep Callouts. soon as i removed it the game started right up like it always has. not sure if it was because of the newest GTA update..but either way, my game runs smooth as ever. again, sorry if this doesnt apply to you..but wanted to throw it out there just in case. if that is not the case i wish you luck

Go into Steam, uninstall the game. Go into the game directory, delete everything there. Redownload during the night. Only then can we be sure you have a clean directory to work with - If that doesn't work, there's something wrong with dependencies in your OS or driver issues.
