First of all, great mod!

No crashes, before 30-45 mins of gameplay.

But I had some issues.

First of all,

The search trunk feature.

It says press E to search trunk, but when I do nothing happens. The police cruiser trunk works fine, but when it comes to searching civ trunks ,it doesn't.

Does anyone know the problem?

Second of all,

For the IVDashCam mod and the spotlight, they all have conflicting keys, either with each other or LCPDFR (Numpad) and I haven't found a way to resolve that through the .ini file.

Any suggestions?

The vehicle in question cannot have a driver in it

Dashcam works fine for me with no conflicts

Spotlight same thing, but i use the Strooper model that doesnt seem to have voice on the PA in the car

If GTA hadn't crashed I wouldn't have noticed (Time zone issues)

Anywho, for dashcam, the radar needs 2,4,6,8 to position it, and 5 for reset.

The spotlight needs 8,2,1,3

And finally the PA

So there is more than 1 conflict, and when I had those installed, if I pressed any conflicting Numpad button, game crashes.

Also, is there no way to change the controls?

you can change the spotlight keys in the spotlight ini

ummm you can use the ELS key codes to punch in the right keys you need

dash cam...not sure, dont have access to the computer i use for gta atm

Just GTA 4 and LCPDFR

I tried installing the spotlight and IVdashcam then deleted them after my experience.

I accessed both ini files.

The dashcam lets me edit some keys, but not the ones I am looking for.

Same for the spotlight...

Anywho, I can wait for a response when you reach your PC, take your time.

Its midnight here anyway, so I guess I'll call it a night.

els has key codes you can use for other mods, spotlight does let you edit the control keys

I'd rather not get ELS.

From my time lurking here, I gathered it is very unstable.

On a final note, I noticed the G17 team was releasing a Policing Tools mod in August, radar, spotlight and some others.

Do you have any idea if that mod will solve this issue?

for my spotlight I use:

G - Move left

H - Move down

J- move right

Y- Move up

This might conflict with other mods you use but it frees up the numpad for other things. GHJY might conflict with your game depending on whats mapped to those keys so they may or may not work. Just trying to help

All of a sudden, my keyboard seems so small
